Using penis pump after trimming hair causes redness

When I trim my hair, and then use the penis pump, there seems to come a little bit of blood out of some hair follicles.

How can I avoid this? Anyone experience this?

When using the pump every day, all tiny wounds will not close, and you will reopen them every day. I don’t want to create small bumps after months of pump use.

Try some creme/lotion that closes the pores. Also there is “healing” creme (bepanthen in europe) which you can add overnight

Just allow more time between your hair trim and pump use.

Use a sharper razor and shave with the grain not against it. Thats what I do every 2 days and I use a safety razor 1 blade only and just take your time. I love shaving its a hobby of mine I shave old school alot as well with a straight edge. Don’t use after shave down there use a nice soft lotion I use Vaseline.

Never had any issues after shaving with my Body Groomer by Norelco. Battery powered and can be used in the shower.

Before I restarted my PE regiment recently, I used a Tria home laser hair removal tool to do some major manscaping renovations. I started about a month before I restarted PE and I am really happy with the results I have obtained. The Tria is pricey but from the perspective of paying for professional laser hair removal it is a BARGAIN. I currently use a Bathmate as a warmup tool and it has been working great in that regard. I’m still using the Tria every 2 to 3 weeks but I would say about 80+% of my hair has not regrown in that area as of right now.

If I shave the base with a normal safety razor, I don’t pump until the following day. Never had any problems doing that. I would never pump the same day as shaving as there is a possibility of infection.

Rather than shaving, have you tried trimming it short with something like a beard trimmer? That certainly would avoid this type of problem.

If you have the right color hair, laser or IPL are worth trying. If you don’t, and want permanent results, good luck finding an electrologist that will work on men “down there.”

How much did you use it and how? Is the pain bearable?

It’s a tough location to use a laser. No doubt about that! The shaft, taint, and butthole are the most sensitive parts I’ve used it on and all hurt to a degree of a little less pain than say a cigarette burn but more than a bee sting. This is when the laser is set to it’s highest level of 5. You need to train yourself to fight your instinct of pulling the laser away because that makes the pain worse. The first few sessions I would back it down to level 4 and they do send some desensitizing creme which I’ve used occasionally and it does help somewhat. It only really hurts where there are hair follicles so now that most of them are gone, the pain is much more easier to deal with. I think I have had about 6 session so far, and I’ll use the laser immediately after shaving the area. The unit is good for somewhere around 60 or 70 thousand laser discharges for its life and I am probably around 5 to 6 thousand so far.
