V stretch and effects

Ok, so I have read all the tutorials and editorials and watched the videos. But what does v stretch and inverted v stretch do? Does it affect length more than girth, or vice versa, or a mixture of the two? I am a newbie to PE and will be following that routine for a while (as per instructions) but when that trial period is over, I want to know just what I need to do to get the results I am looking for.

I understand what they stretch, but I guess I don’t understand what the parts being stretched do to effect length or girth.

It concentrates the stretch in one spot.

Imagine bending a piece of pipe. The outter edge of the pipe will be getting stretched but the inside edge will be (in a sense) getting shortened.

I don’t have enough experience with V Stretches to say whether they affect length or girth more, but I’d hazard a guess and say it would do both.

I would suggest read all you can. After you have 3 months of the newbie routine, SLOWLY add other exercises to your routine. I still use the newbie routine in my workout. I will also add, you need to have patience because you will not see results overnight. Nobody here can tell you need to know to get gains. Its all a trail and error method. What works for one person might not work for someone else.

I forgot to answer your question about v stretches, I find that they more good for length as to girth.

It adds extra stress, I don’t believe that extra stress is limited to just the spot of the fulcrum. Its probably the most common advanced stretching exercise that people can do, works the tunica very hard.

Normally I would have given you the answer straight away but since it’s your 11th post and you just joined I figured it would be a good practice to perform a search. :)

I feel that you’ll learn more searching for it rather than getting the answer straight away.
