During PE I watch something like Seinfeld or Smallville, or sports like basketball. It really helps while waiting for the 30 seconds or 60 seconds to go by or the rests between sets. I do a mainly stretch based routine though, and I only jelq for 5 mins twice a week. Listening to music would be good too.
During the (dry) jelqing it requires intense focus, I think it’s hard to do it properly without concentrating on it 100%. It’s not because of maintaining an erection (kegelling traps the blood in the penis between each stroke rather then relying on arousal), it’s just the jelqs require good technique so that the blood flows properly and gets more and more on each stroke. And also, doing it without paying attention could lead to injury. But everyone is probably different in this respect. For erect jelqs or wet jelqs, I’d use porn. But I only do them 30-70% erect. People talk about struggling to say erect but for me it’s the opposite. Each stroke puts more blood into the penis and makes it more erect. But it’s not from being aroused, it’s from the jelqs. Starting at 30%, gradually getting more blood, stopping at 70% and then repeating from 30% again. But we all do them differently I guess.
