What does tenderness of the head mean

I had another question about ‘discomfort’ of the head.. But it’s now just a tenderness. I suppose it was a tenderness before, I just described it wrong, mostly because I wasn’t sure how to at first because I’d never felt it before.

Could it be due to edging? The tenderness didn’t occur until the morning after an edging session, something I’m new to and was just kinda trying out.
Or, could it be a sign of growth? Kind of like the way your muscles get tender after you break them down.

I would take it as that you have been doing the jelqs correctly, but you may have been overdoing/overtraining your unit.
