When to Call it Quits

Hello All, I’ve posted a few times previously and now I think I’m nearing the end of the PE journey for me.

Up until now:
I started the beginner’s routine in February but didn’t get any gains (my first post). I then moved to hanging in June (following the breakup with my girlfriend I had a lot more free time on my hands and decided this would be one way I’d better myself). Still no luck with hanging, I was doing 3 sets of 15 minutes using the captain’s wench every day. I had some stuff to take care of and couldn’t hang for a month (mid-september to mid-october), but did switch to lots (and I mean LOTS) of jelqing along with edging - I was inspired by a long-time member who did that to great effect before he started hanging (big horsey? Long horsey? He has a stuffed horse as his profile pic and has made massive gains).

Since I started-up again in mid-October, I continued with my previous 3 sets of 15 minutes. I’m at 8-10ish pounds now (I’m doing kg’s so I’m guesstimating).

I fairly recently read that Bib would hang with his legs up, so I’ve been hanging while sitting down with my legs on the desk in front of me and me slouching to that it feels more like BTC than straight down. Before this I felt all of the weight on my actual shaft, now I’m feeling it more in the ligs - though there is never any soreness ever (I read about people being sore the next day, what? Really?).

Oh, also FYI I curve up and slightly left, I read about a “steel cord” for those of us up-curvers, could this be stopping all gains?

So, it’s been about 10 months and I haven’t had a single gain. Pros out there, think it’s about time to call it quits? I’d rather not waste any more time doing this if there is no effect. Thanks for your help.

If it feels like a waste of time and you’re not enjoying it, you probably should quit (or find a routine that you like better).
The best suggestion I can give you is to try to treat PE as a hobby rather than work. It’s fun. It’s pleasant. Don’t worry so much about gaining.

That said, I’m not a hanging expert but I’m pretty sure most people suggest to hit 10hrs/week at least. Perhaps you’re simply not putting in enough time.

Hanging progress.......... Difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week.

What should you do? Ask yourself how important you think a bigger dick is, and act accordingly.

That said, I didn’t have terrible luck with hanging either. Had to be very thorough and keep try to get gains going again.

Just out of curiosity, have you noticed any changes at all to your member during this time? I.e. larger flaccid, PIs etc.

I have been pumping now for about 6 years and I finally feel good about my gains. Brother stay with it and be dedicated. Your gains will come, believe what I am saying. Do not give up!

That’s a wicked crazy amount of dedication you have! I can’t believe you even went this long without seeing gains. Since you’ve tried manual and hanging exercises, maybe you could try extending, or even pumping? Just a suggestion, if you haven’t tried either of them already that is.

I still think you should keep with some form of manual PE exercises at least, maybe you were going to hard and just need to ease up?

Thanks for the replies guys. Some good questions too. I guess getting a bigger dick is fairly important to me, however if an experienced member was to say “yeah, by now if you haven’t seen gains, you’re probably just unlucky,” then it clearly isn’t a question of it how important that is.

I’ll consider whether or not to stick with it, I’ve been doing it for awhile now so it would feel weird not to at least set some mark like the 1 year mark before quitting

Fgttttt, I’ve noticed a slightly larger flaccid when it’s warm outside. However when it’s cold I shrink down to the same size I’ve always been. Aside from that, only slight discoloration.

That’s my concern too, I’m hanging like crazy and all I got was turtling, I hung in there through the temporary shortening eased up on my routine and after 5 weeks or so not a millimeter difference even my eq will vary between usual and slightly below usual now.

When I was pushing myself with 15lbs at least I felt something was possible due to stress on ligs and raging erections, now with 10lbs I just feel like I’m putting my cock through discoloration and glans fluid build up …

I am certainly not ready to give up, however I’m constantly second guessing my PE’s efficacy. I recently added rice sock warmer to the mix, I hope it makes a difference but I’m hanging 2-3 hours a day! If dedication were the be all end all of PE I’d be growing at a good pace, however lucky I might be with my natural length I feel I’m UNlucky in my penis’s ability to micro tear.

I get keloids (even though i have light tan skin) and scar horribly, but heal VERY quickly … could their be a connection to lack of gains? Excess Scar tissue? Or too quick recovery from micro tears?

Am I at a disadvantage because I’m a lifetime puller of pud? And my penis is already stretched?

Is 5-6 weeks WAAY to early for any gains?

From my experience. No, but everybody is different. I see a difference in my penis already and it stayed that why since then. Some people gain fast and others don’t. It depends on your body and how much time your putting in to it and other factors also. Me personally I look at like I’m lifting weights and I’m taking amino acids that repair tissues and cells divding fast.

Could be diet and overall health. How’s your general health? You a smoker? Diabetic? Overweight? Just wondering if it’s something other than the PE that is your roadblock.

When it’s too cold to comfortably stretch my schlong without hurting it, and just causing it to turtle up only making it even smaller…. It’s time to call it quits.

I am going to try it again when it gets warmer. In the meantime, I’ll try to keep my dick from freezing.
