I’ve been browsing this forum for a few months and started the newbie routine a week ago. I’m hoping to do it for the next 6 months until I’ll be forced to take a 2-3 month break. Will I lose my gains during the break.

I have never lost during a break.
A couple times I gained during a break.

PE is long journey, is like go to war without knowing when you will comeback. Like in real war you are not even sure if you will be alive or dead..
PE work the same way, you are not guaranteed that in 6 months time you will gain or not gain.
Put the deadline on your routine is a way of killing it. PE can be performed in toilet’s break, shower and etc.. So why thinking about quitting?
