Hey everybody, hope you are all doing good with your PE routines! So I have been doing 2 sets of stretching 40 seconds, in all directions with a decent intensity, nothing crazy but definitely stronger than what this thread recommends for the longer sets Marinera and others talk about. I have been messing around with the progressive stretching technique and have been including fulcrum stretches as well and really like the idea of easing into a longer stretch rather than tugging hard for a short one.
This brings me to my question that I didn’t see raised already in the thread: I am wondering if anybody thinks I should continue with the 2 sets of 40 seconds of stronger pulls and also start incorporating the progressive low intensity long (2-3 min) stretches along side them, or drop the previous model and just do the progressive stretches without my old routine. I see people mostly using one or the other in their posted routines and so I am curious if doing both would ultimately defeat the purpose of the two different modes of stretching.
