Been LG Hanger using for about 4 months now...

If this continues I’ll have to just stick to hand stretching with heat. But right now I am very disappointed with how this LG Hanger is working out. I hate to write this after using it for so many months and reporting that it has failed.

Hey Jay - can you send us some photos or video of how you’re wrapping and using our system. I’m assuming you’re uncircumcised, which for some men presents some challenges developing a level of conditioning that allows them to hang heavier weight.

You’re using 3.75 Kg’s of weight which is 8.3 lbs. That’s a fair amount of weight and may I ask what weight did you start off with and what incremental weight increases did you use as you progressed to heavier weight and what was the time frame? I always caution men to not try and not hang with more weight than they have been properly conditioned for, or to exceed a hang time they’re not ready for.

It took me three full months of dedicated training to graduate from 3 lbs up to 8 lbs. Which was a slow, deliberate process.
Set backs with blisters complicate any progress that could be made and often it will set you back to square one. When I take time off (a week or more), I always resume my training with half the amount of weight and time. Think of getting a suntan…. let’s assume you have a nice tan, but then don’t expose yourself to sun for a couple weeks, then go back out and stay out for the same amount of time you were before you took time off. You’re gonna get burned because your skin is no longer conditioned for that amount of exposure. This might now be a perfect analogy but the same holds true for skin conditioning of your penis skin and exposure to vacuum pressure.

What I would highly suggest is for you to heal up. Then start back up with a lighter weight that you can hang with and have NO complications. Do that for a full week, then add more time, go up to a full hour, and if you can hang with that weight for an entire week with no complications, then you can add a pound or two. Hang with that weight for 30 minutes a session for a full week, and if there are no complications go up to a full hour. Keep repeating the pyramid process incrementally, this is how to develop skin conditioning that prevents blisters.

For the last few weeks I cracked the problem that started the blister - that I wasn’t rolling the foreskin behind the glans back enough so that the tape would cover all of it. So what happened was the bit of skin still sticking out the topside of the first tape on the skin was getting squeezed by the hanging apparatus pressing down on the ‘ridge’ of the glans and pressurizing the bit of sticking out foreskin.

Since I rolled it right back so all of it us under the tape the blister problem went away and I could proceed as normal doing this hanging with the glans having the foreskin pulled right past it.

Since then I have now gone up to hanging around just over 4kgs, and soon to go up to 5kgs weight.

So big appreciation for everyone’s advice here.

One new question though…

Am I definitely doing just as good if I do hard hand pulled stretches with an Infra Red Lamp on the penis other than doing the hanging?

As some days I just prefer to hang out on the sofa and like to stretch for a good fraction of the day and do hand stretches with heat. This could be half an hour here or there for a period of half a day or all day, when I wake up for a full 1 hour, or just spending the majority of the day sitting or laying down for a rest and then hanging all of this time. So it could be up to maybe a 2 consistent hour session sometimes. I like to pull in different directions with my hand too. The penis is very flacid.

It’s hard to do 2 x 1 hour hanging sessions some days so I prefer to hand stretch.

Some days I would hand stretch and do 1 hour hanging session on that day, or indeed do 2 x 1 hour hang sessions and hand stretch too.

Is all of this good to do? Some days just stretch alone or to stretch with hanging once or twice a day? Or am I better off just doing the 2 x 1 hour hanging on it’s own?

There i nobody that can give you an answer on that question. It all sounds fine to me and in my opinion there is no way that 2 hours of hanging will give you much more gains than 1 hour of hanging and 1 hour manual stretching. Be consistent over years, don’t overdo it and take deconditioning breaks on a regular basis and you will be fine.

IMO you can train as much as you like. Everyone is different and some guys have an ability to train longer and with more intensity and still be able to recover. However that’s something each individual needs to discover for themselves. You’ll know if you’re overtraining, because erection quality begins to suffer, that’s when you know you need to back off.

Well I certainly learned not to overpump 2 days ago. Since I got comfortable with the new routine change I got too complacent and pumped up from my max of 15hg up to 20hg, thinking that this will be a better hold for my current weight and when I go higher in weight too.

… I got a blister on the top half of my glans, about 1 cm higher than the glans ridge. Blister is about 3/4s of a centimetre long, half a centimetre wide.

Will have to wait for a good week or 5 days for it to go down. Meanwhile I’ll hand stretch with Infra Red Heat beaming onto the penis. Hopefully with this manual method I can still get a good enough stretch throughout the incoming days to make an effect the same as hanging does.

Does this normally happen when you pump too hard, you get a blister? Can’t think of anything else that could have done it.

Well I must say of course 20hg can give you blisters. When applying weight to the hanger the pressure is even higher. For me that sounds like far to much pressure.

Yeah thanks for your reply and confirmation. Nice to get another opinion to back up my theory. Yes the pressure from the hanging can add more too, didn’t think about that so much.

I’ll certainly lessen it. Maybe keep it around 10 - 12.

When would it need to go above 15? When I hang heavier?

I pump to 10-12 and am hanging 15 pounds without issue.

Just did a measurement of my erect length for the first time in months.

Disappointed to say there is no increase in length.

Maybe this is because I haven’t hung or stretched in the last 2-3 weeks for practical reasons but I expected that after all this daily hanging and/or stretching via hand that there would have been more length increase by now.

I got up to hanging around 3.75gs - 5gs at one point so I did push it hard.

Wonder what I gotta do to get results here. Feels like it’s gonna be hard to keep this up knowing it may not be working.

Can you please clarify your weight amounts? What is “gs”?
How long have you been weight hanging? How many sessions / hours per day? How many days per week? Are you following up your hang sessions with 5-10 minutes of very aggressive hand stretches?

I’ve been weight hanging with the LG Hanger since around April onwards. 2 x 1 hour sessions a day. Every day of the week. That’s before I had to take some breaks due to injuries etc.

Not done very aggressive hand stretches after.

The white micro-foam tape we provide with the system has a very mild amount of adhesive and isn’t like a band aid or surgical tape that hurts when removed.
There’s a few different methods you can try. If you are uncircumcised it can take a little bit of time to get used to the "alternative" wrap method. But IMO it’s the best way to limit foreskin stretch and protect your glans if you are un-cut.
Check out the blog video on how one of our customers demonstrates how he uses micro-foam tape. IMO it’s a little excessive, but like I’ve said…. there’s no right or wrong way to protect your glans. I personally like to use both the micro-foam tape and the blue tender wrap in conjunction. I will put a single strip of white microfoam tape across the front of my glans urethra opening, lengthwise with my penis, and then wrap the glans with the blue tender tape all the way past the glans onto the shaft about 1" down.
