Bib as ADS

If anyone is using the Bib as an ADS …. what weight are you using? What time limit do you use before taking off. How Many hours a day? Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks CGuy

Hmm, this sounds interesting to me and I’ve been waiting for some replies. I don’t have any input because I don’t own a Bib Hanger. My homemade device is too bulky to wear under my clothes.

Yes I’ve used it once. I wrapped with coach wrap. Atached the Bib Starter and hung a 1 pound weight for about 4 hours. I am not sure as to how long is safe to wear it. Bib said it would just have to be experimented with.

I can tell you that it was very comfortable and you could not tell it by looking that it was on. I plan to work up to 8 hours a day then do the regular hanging at night.

Really was hoping others could share some insight as well.

If you mean a homemade Bib, search the forum. Lil12big1 and Phat experimented using them as an ADS. Production Bibs are too bulky, IMO. It’s difficult to walk around wearing one except for OTS. I suppose shortening the bolts would give some leg clearance, but still it’s overkill for just a few pounds of tension.

I’ve mentioned this to a few guys. *If* you have the privacy then use it as an ADS. Make sure the weight is light and it is not attached too tightly. Check that the head is never cold, etc. And there you have a good, easy ADS.
