I really want to get into hanging but I do not know where to start. I am not very mechanical at all so I need something very simple to construct. I was interested in buying a silicon vacuum hanger but I heard they were not very effective. I saw the bib hanger site where you can purchase it but I am not sure if that is what I want. Does anyone have any recommendations as to how I should get started?

Here’s a suggestion: Stick to manual exercises and don’t bother hanging. Manual exercises always got me gains, but hanging never worked for me. And I AM very mechanically inclined.

Enter your measurements in the PE Database.

jaylough if you want to make your own silicon hanger or Vacuum hanger this is the threads to read. Go down to hangerman5000 Vac Hanger purchase ModestMan what was the highest weight you hanged? I ask because I have made gains Vacuum hanging so far.

+1, and given that you’re from the UK I presume you are uncircumcised? Very very few uncut fellas have any success with hanging.

Jelq my boy, jelq like the wind.

Yes I am uncircumcised, and I epic I have yet to hang so no weight at all. Would a bib hanger like device work any better for an uncircumcised man?

And I have no problem with doing just exclusively manual stretches, but I am unsure if that will be enough for me to progress.
