Hanger asymmetry

Both the Bib Hanger and the Starter models have some asymmetry when comparing the right side of the hanger to the left.

In the Hanger the “thumbs line” start first at the right side, while opposite of it, there’s some space. With the Starter model, it’s the other way around.

Couldn’t this put some extra stress on one side of the penis?

Anyone notices something of the sort or took this into consideration while fixing a hanger?

I also noticed the asymetry early on. I’m not sure, but it may have something to do with the alignment of channels that facilitate blood flow. The length of the sides is fairly equal, so I don’t think that there is a disparity in gripping surfaces. I guess we will have to ask the designer to enlighten us.

I went through a hell of a lot of information and trial and error to come up with that configuration, both on the regular and starter. That is definately the way it is supposed to be.

Other than the front thumbs, which should be aligned, the finger roughly alternate.

As long as the hanger is attached properly, I don’t see how it could ever stress one side more than the other. The goal is to grasp the entire wrapped bundle, so neither side should slip. They work in concert.

The thumbs are indeed there to “facilitate blood flow”.

I didn’t really understand what you meant by “length of the sides”. To my make the first post clearer: The thumbs closest to the body, are not at the same distance from the body, at both sides. Uh. :)
