Hanging and Clamping

For the last three days, I have been hanging and camping in the same routine. I hang for 20 min then I jelq for 5 min and camp for 10. While I’m clamped I also jelq and edge. It feels great and I haven’t had any negative indicators. So, I’m wondering if any other guys do this and if so how do you like it.

My thought process is that the micro tears from the clamping will be healing while I am stretching and then the tears from the stretching will heals after the routine when I wear my ADS. I’m no scientist so this is no exact theory just trying to use some common sense.

What do you guys think?

I don’t think the healing occurs as fast as you describe. If you’re seeing gains from this then it doesn’t really matter.

I’d be concerned with active jelqing while clamped. If you’re clamping like most guys do then you’re already putting a good strain on the erectile chambers. Light masturbation and edging is good, even necessary, to keep up the erection and the pressure. But adding pressure by actively jelqing might be pushing things too far. Even though you haven’t had any negative indicators, you might be on the path to some serious damage. (IMO)

Hey westla, in many if not all of the clamping sections I’ve read even here(clamping 101), it says that this is safe once well conditioned. I have been doing clamped exercises for over a year now, really about two nearly three of and on. I’ve only had negative P.I.’s once, and this was fairly recently maybe a month ago. This was do to a very intense routine one a 6 on 1 off schedule. I cut down to 5 and 2 and had no problems.

Now I hang 2 hrs a day and as I said jelq and clamp in between sets. I also sometimes do two clamping session after my last version of hanging. I only do this if I didn’t clamp between every hanging set. It’s usually an hour in the day an hour at night of hanging.

Hey westla, I didn’t want to seem like I was snapping at you. I just want to make sure everything I am doing is safe, so I look at a lot of posts and different sites. I also saw here on thunders where Big Girtha gained amazing gains from hanging and clamping in between sets.

I have continued to practice this and it seems to be working well. Although I haven’t measured to check gains I can feel a difference in my erect length and can see a visible change in my flaccid length. I wont be measuring again until July 4th. I am going to stop measuring so often so that I can really see the changes and wont be so discouraged with weekly sometimes daily measurements.

Doesn’t it hurt.. to attach a hanger to a penis that’s been clamped?

I can’t imagine hanging on a clamp-fatigued penis. Shriveled up flaccid only.

I used to jelq and hang in the same routine, and thinking back that KILLED. Just so much unnecessary soreness. I probably could have added 5 lbs if it weren’t for the soreness. Now I don’t do any jelqing or girth work when I’m concentrating on a hanging routine.

Hey Lostracco, I guess I’m just well conditioned because it doesn’t hurt me at all. I actually like it because it gives me a nice plumped piece to hang with. I’ m still in my first month of hanging so I’m only hanging at 5 lbs. I go up in weight tomorrow so I will see if I can keep it up.

I think the key is making sure to get good blood circulation during the breaks. I do helicopter spins and strong shakes before and after I clamp. This helps to circulate blood and loosen up the ligs all in one.

I will definitely be interested to hear your thoughts on the subject in a higher weight/fatigue range.

I’ve only noticed drawbacks in hanging when working with a plump shaft.

Yeah, I may have to revise my plan once I go up in weight but I’m going to give it a try. Today I’m going up to 7.5 lbs. I don’t clamp for every set though. I just do regular jelqs for the first hour and clamps for the second hour. So its only 3 clamp sets abut 15 minutes long with bends at the end of them.

Well guy’s, I think I got in over my head I suppose. I cant handle the clamping hanging mix at 7.5 lb. I’ve tried several times and can’t seem to keep my glands from filling up. The pressure is to much to handle. If I just jelq in between sets it’s fine but not clamping. I have started just clamping after my last hanging set and this is cool.

I’m gonna try again after I get a little more adjusted to the new weight. I hope I will be able to accomplish this type of workout throughout hanging, because it felt really beneficial at 5 lbs.
