Hanging Location - Base Or Behind Glans

I’ve gained around 1/2 an inch with doing hanging exercises using malehanger. But that’s been with me attaching the hanger at the very bottom of my penis and I’m reading now that I was doing it wrong and I should actually apply the hanger an inch or so from the glans.

Has anyone experimented with changing location from the base to near the glans and did it work better? I tried to use the same weight as I was doing attaching the hanger at my base (10kg) and it won’t work. Even 5kg is awkward to secure and not slip out but willing to adapt if it’s definitely better.

Fwiw, I assumed hanging at the base was best for pulling out the hidden penis because I’m hanging right at that location but lol, chatgpt giving me lessons in torque has convinced me I was mistaken

Compression hanging used to be really popular and the archives have megabytes of posts on it. Bib originally recommended attaching close to the base, but later went to "one inch behind the glans."

I never really understood the reasoning for attaching at the base; the same tension will be applied to the ligaments no matter where the clamp attaches, and going close to the glans also stretches the tunica.

I will admit I haven’t done much compression hanging, though. The "remove and massage every 20 minutes" thing was a hassle, and I’m fundamentally lazy. On the other hand, if your glans is so sensitive that vacuum hanging is a problem, compression hanging looks a *lot* better.

I have a peispossible thread over at Bibsforum, which is five years old. I have compression hung mostly close to glans. I wouldn’t go all the way back to the base, somewhere between the middle could work out. Bib had me stretch for skin a few times at base hanging, but this is getting skin to stretch. Trust me if you hang for 2,000-3000 hours, you’ll have stretches skin that almost causes you to look circumcized, if your aren’t circumsized

I tried that yesterday, for the first time in about a few years, hanging an inch or so back, than usual below glans .

I have four thousand hours of hanging , and have increased length 0.75 inches at most. I have been taught by bib and slowly took three years going from 5 lbs to 31 lbs. I did gain some base girth at thirty one lbs , I think. Base girth started at six inches . Bib has said I may need 35, ,49,45 lbs to deform lugs and tunica. I could hang 31 lbs for 15 mins , 3 sets a day pretty comfortable for a few months , until had the reduce weight to 26 lbs to ride the fatigue. For some reason 2 lbs more, thirty three lbs hurt like hell , makes no sense but that’s all I can tell you. I’ve hung through gritted teeth pain and actually screaming bc it hurt a bad

Also had share of injuries. Split uretha, black blood clot came out 2020. Another one came out while vac hanging 2023. Had psa prostate tests done to see if it was prostate cancer. They both were in range. So I don’t know what the blk blood clots were but both were during hanging. Have had blisters three times, taking off month off each time. One time it was six weeks they were bad There’s a way to heal them up swiftly ,on a post I read somewhere

Past year and a half have been using both vac, and compression, way lighter . More time, taking things slow, and seeing how things respond.

The most gains I have done was when I started using a penis pump by le luv about a year ago. I aim for pumping 0.25 inches above erect length . I use silicon sleeves , to cover part of the head, and below coronal ridge ,where most edema occurs with increased pressure pumping. I have especially gained 0.12.5- 0.25 inches in girth, even after five days, after pumping. The day of and after ,it’s 0.5 inches, and even more. I got cylinder that was 0.5 inches smaller than biggest girth. That said after a year it packs it so much I had to purchase one that is 0.5 inches more than last cylinder.
