Hanging SO. Hanging SD hurts like hell!!!

I am starting to hang pretty regular,now. I have made an original bib hanger for now. I ordered a TPS hanger a couple days ago. I started with 10# with no problem. I have been doing a couple 20min. sets. Anyhow I will get to my point.

When I try to hang anything below SO it starts to stretch the skin on the top of my dick so bad,it feels like its gonna tear! Any ideas as to what I should do. Maybe when I get my new hanger it will help this problem.

10 lbs. is probably too much.

You’ll have to spend some time stretching skin. Hang SO, but scoot down in your chair a little (toward a BTC position) so the skin takes some tension. Not so much that it’s painful. Scoot down a little more each day as the skin allows. Soon you’ll reach full BTC.

I must have a tough dick, cause I dont really feel that burn that some talk about when they hang. Maybe a little… I was thinking about going up on weight once my TPS hanger gets here,it also might not pull the skin as much. Between hanging,using my PM and a little jelqing and stretching, my dick does seem to be sore(like a muscle sore). I guess thats good, isnt it?

Often the ligs and tunica can take more weight than the softer tissues (blood vessels and nerves). Working up gradually gives these more delicate parts time to adapt.

That 10 lbs. will feel a lot heavier when the skin isn’t bearing the load. Maybe you’ll have more skin slack with the TPS hanger. Don’t be afraid to spend some time stretching only or mostly skin if necessary.

I don’t know about the soreness. Depends.

Fatigue builds over time. Don’t expect it on the first set of the first day. Sometimes I didn’t feel any fatigue until the 3rd or 4th set. Or sometimes no fatigue until only after several days in a row of hanging. That’s what I mean by it building. And at times I didn’t feel any real fatigue at all no matter what.

If you’ve only been hanging 2 sets I suggest adding sets before increasing weight.

I really apreciate your responses. It means a lot more when they come from a vet.. I am real excited with my early gains. I did 4 20min. sets w/ 10# today. I think it wont be long before I will be able to BP 7.5 after hanging. I know thats not “real” gains, but it is promising. Isnt it?
I cant wait til my TPS hanger gets here,as it should be a lot more comfortable,I think. The bib I built is tough on the little guy. haha

My Newbie routine is anything but normal. I started out w/ my PM and some jelqing, and then jumped right into hanging. Knock on wood. All is well, so far. I sure dont want any injuries.

I never have understood SD hanging or BTC for that matter. It seems to me that if you were going to tear the penis from a guy that would be the approach. Grab and pull down and betwwen the legs until it peeled from the pelvis.

SO seems so much more logical for gains as that is the way it naturally expands then that would be the direction to stretch. What kind of skin result do you have when you stretch the top skin. Perhaps the ligs get a big stretch but it seems that kinking them down for stretch would deform the end result even if it gave more length.

Just silly me playing devils advocate.

I have not voiced it yet, but I feel the same way. The natural way to pull your penis would be SO. I think I am gonna concentrate on that idea. I think it will give me a lot less stretched skin and maybe better results. I just gotta make a pully system over my bed so I can lay there and hang SO. Other then that, the only effective way I figured to do it is bent over at the waist 90 deg. I do swing gently in a circular mottion as I think I get a better stretch. I am still learning about the feelings. I am gonna go with what feels more natural for now. I will keep you guys up to date with my results.

What you might consider also is using a Bungi cord ankered to a door knob or anything strong enough to stand the stress (which isn’t that much). Perhaps install an eye lag. I anker mine to the opposite side of a table for SO then for SU I have a lag up high. It does leash me for a period but the advantage of flexability when it comes to various stress levels rather then a fixed weight I think is a bonus. Then if you want OTL just twist your hips and whalla!.

The buggi cord is a good fixed pull for SO. Attach a cheap fish scale from Walmarts to makes it even better because you can see how much weight you are pulling from a pad-eye in the wall. Hobby is also right about add sets, not weight, and of course try to keep it from turtling between sessions. Talk to the guy above me about the best ADS on the market.

I’m hanging SO with a bungee cord at my desk right this moment. I have a small hook screwed in under my desk. The bungee cord extends from the hanger, through the hook, and on to a weight dangling off the ground.

I really like this arrangement. I know that the “average” force is about the weight I’m hanging with. However, I can notch the force up or down by pulling or releasing the bungee cord. There’s enough friction at the hook to sustain a few pounds of difference in tension between the hanger segment (between me and the hook) and the weight section (between the hook and the weight).

Another big benfit to the bungee cord over an inelastic cable is that it provides a little suspension between you and the weight. Sudden movements don’t double the force due to the weight’s inertia; they just slightly increase or decrease the force.

Fish scale. It’s basically a calibrated spring with markers that tell you how hard you’re pulling the ends apart. It’s cheap and available at all sporting goods stores.

Cheaper and doesn’t require a fastening arrangement is a cloth measuring tape from the fabric store or dept. that I attach to the ankered end of my bungi. I hang weights from the bungi while hooked from my door frame. Then I measure how long it is. Then I’ll add more weight and measure again. When I get done with several measurements I’ve got a chart that while I’m hanging the tape measure tells me exactly how much stress I’m under all the time. I can increase or decrease weight at any moment in time. Same goes for SU. I know at all times how much stress I’m under even when I’m hanging Straight-up. Then with free hands and a wireless keyboard I’m on line at the same time.

That settles it… I`m gonna hang SO to SU. I think its a lot more “natural” way to do it. I feel that hanging BTC and SD causes to much skin stretching and discomfort. I want to try to keep my dick from looking like the belly of a woman that has had ten kids! Women have always said that I have a “pretty dick” and I would like to not deform its look, other than its size. I dont want to do things that will change its color,either.
