Hardcore Hanging
I’ve been a lurker for quite some time now, strictly reading for educational purposes. But, it’s time I made a post, regarding hanging, but first, a bit little about my self.
I started PE’ing in 03, with 5.5 bpel. I am now 6.75 BPEL, doing strictly manual work for many years. However, I have been hanging for a few years now, since I have exhausted gains from manual work (based on previous results, I stopped around 6 inches from manual work). I think it was 1-2 years ago when I saw 6.75, but have not seen any growth. I know many don’t follow the LOT theory that Bib published, but according to the theory, and my flaccid state, I have a high LOT, around 10 or more, which means I good room for more length growth. So, I’ve been sticking to BTC as an angle, and some SD, with my back parallel to the floor, and one leg on a chair.
Now, here is why I haven’t grown in a couple of years: work + privacy. I’m 26, I live at home, and my career is 1.5hrs each way. I take the 6:28am train into the city, and don’t get home until 8ish. I also bodybuild and take care of my self cardiovascular wise, meaning, it’s time to cut up. I do all my training before work, which means I wake up around 2:30am, and get to the gym around 3:30AM. I get home around 5ishAM, and have enough time to do 1 set on my workout days (Tues/Thurs). I can do around 2-3 sets Mon/Wed/Fri. since I only do cardio those days, and get home quicker. But, I can’t afford to do anymore in the morning, and can’t do any when I get home, since I’m shot. Now over the years of my hanging, I’ve tried maintaining the strength of weight because I didn’t want to go up to weight to quickly.
But now, I’ve been thinking about the ‘Hardcore’ approach. Of course I hang in weekends, but it has to be so early that I only do around 2 sets ( I do need some sleep, since I barely have a life). I figured, if this is what I am limited to due to timing, then maybe, I should give the hardcore method a try.
