How long have you been hanging, is the pain new if you have been hanging for a while. If you are new to hanging then you should just hang straight down for a while to toughen up the skin. If that still hurts to bad then maybe you should do some manual work for a couple weeks pulling straight down to stretch your skin and get it ready for hanging.
If you have been hanging for a while and it’s not pubic skin hurting and it towards your glans maybe your getting it pinched in the hanger then or like the previous post said maybe your wrap is wrong and it is rolling up on you and pinching you. Don’t give up.
I have been hanging for a few times now. Years ago I tried it but couldn’t even get the hang of getting the hanger on properly. I started properly now.

Or try just using 1kg. Isn’t that like 2.2lbs? You maybe using to much weight.
I started with 1kg (one 20 minute hang then one 15 minute hang), then 1.25kg (15 minutes, 15 minutes, 13 minutes), then 2kg (20 minutes, 15 minutes, 12 minutes) and 2kg again (15 minutes, 7 minutes). I then had 2 days rest and tried 2.5kg yesterday. The skin pain was noticeable at 1kg but it’s intense now. I just see people mostly starting with 12lbs and stuff (which is 5.44kg). I want to follow what ‘lil12big1’ did because he had such good gains and it was proven by pics and he started with 12.5lb. So I was thinking, why should 5.51155655lb (2.5kg in lb) cause so much pain if it is less than half that?

Today was my first day back on my routine and I forgot to apply lotion while I was on my break and b4 my routine also, needless to say I had to stop after about 5 min into my clamp session when I’m sitting there in pain, wondering why the hell it felt like my dick is being sliced lol
Like suntan lotion or something? I have baby oil and it didn’t work when I tried it on the painful area before hanging.
