soon,
>I just wanted to ask what I should expect as far as difficulty. It seems to be one of those things that LOOKS easy as hell, because you don’t know exactly how difficult it is to get it perfect until you try it. So how long did it take you to “get the hang” of hanging?<
It seems the vast majority of guys have little trouble with getting it right fairly soon. You read about problems because the squeaky wheel gets the grease. That is what this forum is for, helping with problems.
I think many of the questions and problems relate to a couple things: The level of knowledge of the individual user, the physiology of the individual user, and the amount of individual experimentation. No matter the physiology, the guys who learn the most before starting, or shortly thereafter, and the guys that take a couple weeks to experiment, trying out many things, have the most success.
I love to hear about guys that take a hanger and have immediate success. It does not happen very often because it is no big deal to report success.
>Also, any tips to be offered to new hangers.<
