Learning to live with purple dick head

Have given up hanging without expecting to have a cool, purple dick head. I’ve tried every adjustment, wrapped and unwrapped and still get the same results.

I have ED and rarely get an erection to measure results.

Tried making a change in psych meds for depression and anxiety and only made things much worse. Feel like I’m just going in circles getting nowhere. Am back on regular meds now.

Feel like my ED and mental problems are making PE very difficult, but I keep butting my head against the wall trying to figure all of this out.

I’m just airing my problems. Don’t expect any magic answers. Know the ultimate answer must come from me. Bib, thank you for your offer of help, but I don’t think anyone can help me, really.

I’m just sort of in a state of agony right now and wanted to air my concerns. Not looking for a “fix”, just needed to have a listen.

I don’t think you should do PE if you’re dealing with a depression. It makes you take too high risks you normally wouldn’t to try to gain and when you’re not seeing any gains you might get even more depressed.

Nost, it would be stupid for me to beg you to keep trying. I have walked in your shoes and still battle with depression. I questioned my intentions with the wrapping and adjustment issues, the endless discussions(posts) about these issues simply drove me bananas, I wasn’t understanding it either. My dick head turns blue after only 5 min. of hanging if my dick stays totally flaccid. This means I have to pick up the weights with one hand and squeeze the old blood out of the head with the other hand. Then I wait about a minute and set the weights back down ( Note that I don’t have to unscrew my hanger from its grip on my dick, because with my design, the hanger opens up just by picking up the weights. The hanger grips you immediately when the weights are set back down ).

Yup, I do this for 2 hrs. but it’s working for me. If I look at porno and the base of my dick swells up, I can actually get enough circulation to the head without it turning blue for up to 20 min.

After answering another post, I thought it might be your problem also.

If the wrap and adjustments are not your problem, it might simply be that your soft tissues have not adapted to the stresses yet. IOW, you are attempting to hang more weight than what the soft tissues can handle.

Try this test: Wrap the way you normally wrap, and then apply the hanger at the normal tightness and with your normal adjustments. Do not add any weight. Then, wait and see if your head turns purple and/or becomes cool. If so, your wrap is too tight for the amount of hanger tightness.

IOW, the wrap may seem loose enough, but when you tighten the hanger, it also effectively tightens the wrap, cutting off blood flow. If the head turns purple without any weight, then take off the hanger, and loosen the wrap, then re-apply the hanger. Do this untill the head no longer turns purple.

Then, if you get it to where the head does not turn purple, try adding the weight. If it turns purple with the weight on, then the HANGER is NOT tight enough. You may or may not have to loosen the wrap a little more, but surely try tightening the hanger more.

If none of this helps, then your soft tissues have probably not adapted to your current amount of stress applied. Over time, you will find that you are able to pump blood through the hanger and out, with increasingly higher weights.

Thanks for your posts. I will try what you suggested. I’m taking a shit load of medications. Lithium, Klonopin, Neurontin, Lexapro and Zyprexa. Any of these could be killing my sex drive but I have to have them just to function without dire anxiety and depression. I’m on disability, probably more information than you wanted.

In short I’m a mess. Without my very specific drug cocktail life becomes a miserable “other world” of doom, darkness and extreme fear.

I won’t give up on PE. Your support is very much appreciated. I’ll get through this. I always do.

I know this might sound strange, coming from a complete stranger, but it is possible that some of your problems are actually interactions between medications or just”too” many medications. Sometimes doctors go overboard and don’t give a certain regimen a chance before adding new or increasing doses of medications. I have very intense anxiety (panic disorder, GAD, Social anxiety etc.) but found medications to make it all worse, except for the occasional benzodiazepine (xanax). If you have been cleared by a physician to exercise, I would start immediately. Take it slow, but over the course of several months continue to build intensity. I jog 60 minutes every other day and it has literally been a miracle for me. They are not sure of the exact mechanism, but it really works. Slowly you might be able to ween off of medications, thereby increasing your sex drive etc., and then you will really be feeling better. Good luck.
