Python Heavy Hanger?

I came across this site, and this product in particular - does anyone have any experience with it? Is it worth the purchase as a beginner to hanging? I hope to learn all of your answers, thank you.

I like, but it can be homemade without spending a nickel.

I bought it due to wanting something that could attach that way around/near the head. and it is not good and wont stay in place nor does it even tight night. it was a nice idea. Im sure someone could perfect better.
