Question about hanging weights progressions

It is supposed that we have to increase the weight every week or so.

Would there be a problem if the weight increase be done like every 2 weeks? I mean slow progressions instead of fast ones.

Is there a problem for gaining by this way?

Hey man, standard practice is to first maximise time and then increase the weight by 1lb every week like you said. If you do this for a while you will start to get a feel for when you need to increase the weight and can customise it to suit you. Increasing every two weeks will not cause any problem.


Started BPFSL: 7.2"; BPEL: 7.25"; MSEG: 5.13"; BEG: 5"

Current BPFSL: 8.625"; BPEL: 8.0"; HEG: 5.375"; MSEG: 5.25"; BEG: 5"

Initial Goal : 9 x 6

So here is what I did in general. I started with 3lbs. I did that for 2 weeks. First week was about half of my max time. 2nd week was my max time. From there I added 1lb a week until I hit 5lbs. After 5lbs I added 5-6 Oz a week until 7 or 8lbs. Now I’m only adding weight when I feel it’s needed. Maybe every other week. Or even once a month.

There is no shame in hanging at a lower weight. We’re trying to make our dicks longer not stronger. From everything I’ve read the majority of peoples gains come from 7-12lbs range. I think we should stick there as long as possible.

This round I had about 3/8” in EL so far. I’ve been hanging since September with a fulcrum. I would start with hanging BTC first though, it has the most potential for gains. Also while I do think a day off here and there are OK for hanging I try to really limit them. I may take 24 hours off every couple weeks. I go by feel instead of a set schedule. Also a good ads as a supplement to hanging works wonders for keeping a good flaccid. I would think it helps with erect gains too.
