I have been hanging for about a month give or take and have been having a hard time getting my wrap correct. I use a home made captain’s hook and it is very comfortable, but unless I wrap my unit quite tight and keep some blood in my glands the hanger pulls the skin and falls off (no matter how tight I clamp it). The glands is acting like a stopper of sorts and keeps my hanger in place. There is not any abnormal discomfort but I was worried about the added pressure on my glands.

My wrap is the normal cotton and duraband described in TP’s PE videos.

Any wrapping tips or hanger clamping advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I usually have blood in my glans when I hang otherwise I have the same issue with slipping. Just monitor for coldness and pray it doesn’t discolor.

With a bib, I’ve never tried more than 20 lbs and that felt fine. I imagine I could do 30 without trouble. However, I still have my days when, regardless of weight, I just can not get the wrap right.

With a wench, though, I was having problems at 10-15 lbs. I don’t think I did a good a job of making mine.

I think as long as you’re not in pain and you get good circulation, then you’re fine.
