Store bought fulcrum

I’ve tried making my own fulcrum, but had problems, or was it just laziness?

Well, anyway I got to thinking that there had to be something I could just buy at a hardware store that would work.

I found one of these at Wal-mart, you can also do a search online for boat trailer parts.

This is called a bow roller.

I’ve used it since summer and it works real good. Sits between my legs, I did put a athletic wrist band around it for comfort.

What are the dimensions of that thing?

It cost me about $2 and some change.

I don’t know the dimensions, we are fixin to leave the house for awhile, I’ll get some measurements and get back to you mravg.

dickbuilder : yes I use this with both the hardcore and regular bibs.

Great idea. I am done hanging for a while but I have a Walmart across the street from me and if I can get through all the snow that is out today I will get one and post the measurements if they have not yet been posted when I get back.

How do you arrange the fulcrum so that it will stay in place when you are hanging? I want to use this instead of the duct tape/rice sock fulcrum with plastic in it. This would be so much easier but how do you keep it static?

Went over to walmart to try to get one of these to measure for you guys but they didn’t have any.

K-Mart also sells them. In the fishing/boating section of sporting goods.

Absolutely, I am also doing the RS/DT fulcrum thing. But this looks much easier to use. Good find!!

The dimensions for the bow roller are 3” tall x 3” wide with the valley droping 3/4”.

Here is a second store bought fulcrum I use in the shower as a warm-up with a Vacu-Hanger.

This is a kite spool to spool up the string.

What do you do with that thing in the shower?
