Hi everyone!

I’m new to hanging. I’ve been using the Captain’s Wench (without cableclamps [can’t find them]).

I want to know the following:
1) Hanging when standing: Pro’s and Con’s of swinging the weight in a circular motion between my legs.
2) Hanging when standing versus hanging when laying in prone position (upper body laying on arm of large chair): I find that when I hang standing it tugs more at the skin, and when I hang when laying on my stomach, it feels more in my entire penis. I’d like to know what the experts do.

My routine has been to hang for 10-20 minutes while standing and circling the weight, and then to hang when in prone position for 10-20 minutes. The next day, and even when I lay down the same night, I can feel it in my pelvis region. I prefer to golden mean, which seems to work out in life and so do a little of both.

I’ve heard of pulley’s, but I’d like to do thing manually for now. Are they other positions, or dynamic movement to be recommended?

First of all, go get cable clamps. I use the Capt’ns wench too, and you can’t hang heavier weights without one. Eventually you’ll need it. Go to Home Depot and look in the electrical section: cable clamps are used to tie up long extension cords etc. You’ll find them there.

As per swinging, yeah I do that too but you have to be very careful because it intensifies the load greatly: turns it from a static load into a dynamic load, and if you’re not careful it could pull something quickly. Moreover, not only does the load become dynamic, so that you’re dick is absorbing the static load (owing to the weight carried) and the dynamic load (owing to arrested kinetic energy as your ligs force the weight to slow down and swing back), but moreover by swinging you to some degree transfer much of the total load onto the left or right ligs alternately. To me it’s clear that this does target the ligs better, but I have to caution that it is definitely more extreme and a problem if it occurs could occur very quickly. For that reason, if I swing, I do it at half my total hang weight. I normally hang at 20, swing at 10.

There is a Home Depot nearby. I will check there probably tomorrow. I think the clamps will help a lot better since the hanger tends to slide up to half the glands. The poor guy looks deformed after 20 minutes.

Yes, I was swinging at 10 lbs. Not violently, just small circles. It is when I hung 20 lbs that I heard a lig snap, and that was statically. Sticking with the 10 lbs for a while since it seems to be working well. About to use it now.

When you swing the weight around it feels more intense because your stretching parts of the ligs that don’t normally get effected. This will cause you to want to increase that effectivity. When your hanging from the prone position your also striking a new angle. Angles are the way to increase gains overall because of the divide and concur approach to stretching. One of the ways you can do that is to gain the maximum angle capability by going to straight out hanging with a Bungee Cord.

You attach a Bungee to an eye bolt or even a door knob and then to your Wench, Bib or whatever. From the standing position you can do straight out hanging, then with a twist of the hips you have over the leg (OTL) hanging. If you want straight up (SU) hanging, just find an eye level hook or eye bolt and whala! SU hanging. Twist the hips again and you’ve got two new angles to apply.

Your advice is wonderful and truly appreciated. I actually already have bungee cord to use. I had never thought of using it as you said.

Today I finally got the last part for the Captains Wench, that being the clamp. The clamp is named Cable Cuff and I bought it at Home Depot, as someone said to do. The clamp feels so much better! Much less slippage and less pain on the glads.

When I say that I lay in the prone position, I mean that my font torso is laying horizontal on a large chair arm and my legs are being me (like I am bending over). The weight hangs down and the position is such that it is as if I am standing up and my penis is being stretched straight out. It works a totally different area. I really feel it in the shaft itself and not the ligaments.

In about a month I’ve went from 15.2 cm to 16.0 cm in length, and the girth went from 5.0 inches to 5.25 inches. What I find confusing is that I’ve not been very strict with jelqing, and only did a few sessions this month.

I’ll try the angles you said! Stretching is goooooooood. :)
