Pumping Questions

Pumping Questions

I’ve been pumping without any breaks for over a year now. My schedule was 3 days on, 1 off, 30 minute session. A month ago I increased to 40 minutes and I quickly adapted to it without feeling discomfort. I’m using the leluv pump for the record.

I wanna increase again though. Would two daily sessions of 40 minutes be too much? Or one 80 minute session? I wanna hear what the experienced users have to say about this.

Also, curious to know - how much longer are you inside the tube compared to your ordinary non-pumped length? From what I’ve read with people, it’s usually up to an inch longer. I expand to 7 inches in the tube but I pack barely over 5 miserable inches without being pumped.

My initial response is to throw an error code. We don’t have enough information. Are you doing one, unbroken, 30 or 40 minute set, with enough vacuum to add 2 inches? What are you experiencing as far as PIs? Is EQ good? Great? Do you have meaningful rupturing or petichiae? Edema like mad? None of that?

Personally, I tend to see people talking about sets, and those sets not being longer than a maximum of 20 minutes, with most doing 5 or 10-minute sets, some number of times. That’s about blood flow and good tissue health. The folks having steady long-term progress also seem to be 15-30 minutes, and only pushing expansion 1/4-1/2 inch beyond their normal length.

Therefore, knowing nothing else, my initial suggestion is to do both less time and intensity, and still likely improve your outcomes. Looking forward to your PIs and/or the more experienced folks chiming in.

I usually pumped for 20 minutes at 5 hg, twice a day, 6 days a week. I subsequently substituted in one 45 minute session at 4 hg which improved my progress.

Start 11/09 BPEL: 5.5", EG: 4.4"

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

I can’t help about the longer sessions, I am not experienced enough and I haven’t changed routines so I can’t compare. I pump once a day for 15 min at 5inHg. Anything longer than 30 minutes sounds dangerous in terms of edema and blood flow (not a doctor), but that of course depends on the pressure.

I can say that my length towards the end of the session is 190 mm and before pumping (and with a 100% erection and pressing the pump to bone) is 180-182 mm, so only about 1 cm difference.

In my case the length increases during the first 10 min but then seems to stabilize. I don’t know what happens after 15 minutes, since I’ve never tried.

A rough calculation indicates that from 180 to 190 mm the difference in volume is in fact 11%

One 40 minute set. No idea what Pls is.

EQ is terrible with or without pumping, always has been, I have ED and have had it my whole life hence why I’m still a virgin. Not only was I cursed with a small dick but I had to be impotent too. Also unsure how to define rupturing or petichiae.

It’d be hard for me to split it into different sets because I have a hard time getting an erection to fulfil my first pump anyways.

Going in the pump erect is not a requirement. I dont. The theory is that going in flaccid may lead to more edema, so you need to pay more attention while pumping.

Vacuum Pumping when you have ED; the short version, according to Avocet8

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I’ve always thought going in erect was a requirement for pumping. That’s good I guess because sometimes all I can get in is a semi.

From a penis health standpoint, replicating the erection process with the pump over a period of time should, in theory, promote better erection quality because of stimulating new blood vessels.

Since recent studies have shown oxygen completely depletes after 10 mins, I do not pump long. I keep my ranges 5-8mins since oxygen is still optimal there. And I just increase sets.

So I do 3 sets of 5 mins @ 8in/HG, I get hard in between sets to get fresh blood.

I am gaining roughly 1/6th inch a week, but that could just be restoring lost gains.

I think 80 mins in a tube is a long time, and feel you would be better off just spacing it out throughout the day.

Kegeling in fresh blood is always a good practice

After a year of pumping you should have really good EQ.

Not being able to get erect before pumping means you’re doing to much.

Are you getting night time and morning wood?

Follow Avocets advice in the pumping for ED post shared above.

You don’t need an erection. Go in flaccid. I do.

Personally I’d back off and do as avocet recommended. Focus on health and getting yourself working again rather than size.

Low pressure. Multiple short sets. Massage and a little jelking in between.
