Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Thank you gprent for the information! I’m already curious about it..

I can’t find a 12”X2.25” cylinder that ships to my country. LeLuv pump is also not available, but I found an chinese alternative that looks the same.

I can only find a 12”X2.5” cylinder, I guess I’ll have to take it.

Now I am afraid that that 2.5” diameter cylinder will be way too large. Can you wait until a 2.25” diameter cylinder is available? I want you to have a pump that will give you the best result.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I’m considering trying out pumping, I just want to clear up a question about cylinder size, I heard somewhere else that many people can’t get permanent results due to improper cylinder size, which makes gains really hard, because if the cylinder is too big, pressure isn’t enough to make penis tissues expand the most. But it seems that cylinder size is only a matter of comfort in order to avoid ball sucking, according to some researches I did on this forum.

So, If I find a way to avoid ball sucking using a large cylinder, then there’s nothing to worry about ?

This is incorrect. Too large a cylinder can be a little unwieldy to use, but the “not enough pressure” comment makes no sense. There is not enough difference in size between cylinders that the commonly used pumps would have a problem keeping the appropriate vacuum level.

True

You do need to have a pump program and stick with it.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

For a beginner, you should be patient for awhile until suppliers like LeLuv get your proper size cylinder back in stock. I think you will be wasting your money getting a 2.5” cylinder. You would be surprised how much a 1/4” increase in diameter makes in the size of a cylinder. It’s a big difference.

Before starting it is a good idea to trim or shave your pubes around the base of your cock. This aids with getting a good seal. It is a good idea to use a lube to help get full insertion into the tube and to also help you get out of the tube when you have finished your routine. I like to use a water based lube because it is the easiest to clean up but you can pick the lube of your choice. Do not use petroleum jelly because it is thick and very difficult to clean up.

I think it is best to enter the tube erect or at least with a semi. To start with press the tube into your crotch and begin to pump up to a pressure of 3”hg. Thats 3 inches mercury vacuum pressure on the pump dial. Stay at that pressure for 5 to 10 minutes depending on your comfort level. I would recommend wrapping the tube in a heat pad to aid expansion, but that is not necessary to get started. Probably keep your routine around 10 minutes for the first week to get accustomed to the new experience. Signs of overdoing it include red spots and or bruising, but you shouldn’t have to worry about that at this level.

After a week start using 5”hg as your max pressure and your time at 15 minutes. For a very long time after that you can continue to keep using 5”hg pressure but keeping extending your time slowly up to 20 to 25 minutes. After you get to this stage your are through the basics. You can make your pumping schedule to be every other day or 2 on, 1 off or 3 on 1 off. Experiment to find out what works best for you. Always be on the look out for signs of over doing it that usually first show up a red spots that are broken capillaries neat the surface of your skin. Once to get to this level you are pretty much on your own, but you can keep seeing progress staying at 5”hg and 20 to 25 minutes.

This exercise is kind of unusual because it should really feel quite good so that makes pumping all the more fun. Keep us posted on your progress and any questions or problems you run across.

Thanks again for your help. I just wanted to report in:
I bought a 12”X2.25” and a manual pump with gauge from AliExpress - I think it’s from the same manufacturer that LeLuv pumps are from, it really looks the same. It’s cheaper and they ship everywhere, so I can only recommend it.
I’ve been pumping for a month now. I started with 3”hg and 10 mins and now I’m at 5”hg and 20 mins 3 on 1 off. I do 5 mins of stretching as a warmup, then massaging until erect + pumping and then 5-10 mins of dry jelqing. I don’t use heat (yet) and also I don’t use lube because of the mess.
Problems that I came across: My penis has an upward curve so inserting is not that easy, I have to get into the cylinder at the right angle so my glans doesn’t rub on the cylinder. The insertion angle also has impact on the length in cylinder - so using the cylinder to measure is not reliable. I always try to figure out the angle where my penis is the longest. Another thing is that a lot of skin is sucked in from my testicles and the cylinder pinches on them which can be painfully (maybe this is because I’m cut).

And what is your opposition with lube? I ask because you and I are in the same boat with an upward curve (had more of one before pumping) and I find that lube is absolutely necessary for the reasons you mentioned.

Because of the cleanup afterwards. I never tried it, I guess I have to - maybe with water based ones.

So your curve did straighten a bit? - Certainly, I like it and I don’t want to lose it.

Correct,

You need something to help with the friction and you want your dick to not have any resistance sliding up the tube.

I’m by no means “straight”. I still have an upward curve but with lengthening it’s mellowed out a bit.

I personally use a water based lube and it keeps my glans from sticking to the side during each session. I also apply a bit of water based lube to the area where the cylinder seals against my body; I definitely have fewer leaks this way.

Good luck,

BPEL 6-3/4" MEG 5-1/4" on 8-2021. Goal: 7-3/4" to 8"BPEL x 5-1/2" MEG

5'-11" and 190# and working back down to decent ab definition. I expect this around 178#.

Please share me the link to the pump you bought from aliexpress. Thanks

I have 2 cylinders. They are both wider at the base. There is a little difference between inside and outside circumference, so I don’t know how exactly it translates into the more common measures, like 1.50” or 2.00” cylinder etc. One of them has 6.7” internal circumference at the base and 6.1” at the top. The other has 7.4” and 7.0”. They both have around 10” length.

I’m using the smaller one and I want length. With this one there is almost no girth expansion, I already start with the cylinder almost packed girth-wise and while pumping the glans push against the walls and I can clearly feel that most of the pressure is being felt at the top.

My question is if that is how it should be like for length or if it would be better even for length if I used the bigger one. I’m afraid that that could result in more girth gains than length.

(09/2017): 7.3" BPEL x 6.0" MSEG (start)

(09/2021): 7.8" BPEL x 6.9" MSEG

Even with a lot of lube, when you are fully packed in the smaller cylinder it is very difficult for your cock to stretch lengthwise. It’s best to use your larger cylinder so there is less friction keeping you from expanding lengthwise. Also longer continuous pump times of 20-30 minutes helps with length. For me milking the tube also helps your cock reach further into the tube.

Tapered shape

Question about right cylinder size:
I’ve a tapered shape penis, larger at the base 5.3", 4.92" mid shaft and 4.8" under the glans.
I’m around 7.1 BPEL so I think I need to work more on girth.
1.75 cylinder is the way to go, or should I get directly the 2"?

I can also buy tapered cylinders, I found these:Mister B Cock Cylinder - Your Fetish Specialist in Gay Sex Toys & BDSM | Mister B
But I wonder if with regular cylinders I might also "correct" my tapered shape and have a more uniform girth lenghwise.

What would you suggest?

I add an other question that probably has been made already hundreds of time: my goal will be 5.5" girth (0.7" increase considering the smaller measurement) do you guys think it’s possible to achieve this geal permanently in 12/15 months?
I was also getting informations about HA enhancement, that would give me immediate results (at a significant cost), but if I can achieve my desired girth size naturally in that timeframe that will be obviously better.

tiritera, you should get a 2” straight wall cylinder.
