Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Unfortunately most cylinder sizes seem to be 1/4” increments so 2.25” is your next available size as you indicated. The sole exception that I am aware of is the 1.875” cylinder.

EDIT:

The 1/8” exception is a 2.125”, not 1.875” that I stated above.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I do have some very mild upward curvature. So over the length of the sleeve there may be some additional constriction.
And all measurements have error or uncertainty. I have read that some 2 inch tubes are closer to 1.9 - maybe because of manufacturing tolerance or variation or process. And for sure that would be a no go showstopper.
Yes I may be erring on the low side of measuring my penis. But I would rather do that than delude myself and others that I am larger than I actually am.
My previous tube from years ago was an industrial acrylic cylinder that I modified. I am highly certain that it was 2 inch ID. I know I measured 5.625 erect girth at the time. And I remember how it used to fit. Even fully erect there was some looseness until I started pumping.
I could hardly believe that the 2 inch sleeve is tight now. I do measure bigger at 5.75. And the base is not quite 6.125.
If I could find a tube at 2.125 inch or 54 or 56 mm I would definitely consider it. But for now 2.25 seems like the way to go.
Also I was posting the sleeve idea as something others could try easily to get an estimate. Remember to cut that plastic carefully and make sure there are no sharp edges!

LeLuv sells a 2.125” cylinder. Search the description below on Amazon.

Thanks, this is good to know. I had a difficult time finding it, even after I cut and pasted your description I still could not get it. I ultimately went to the Amazon LeLuv store and found it that way. Perhaps I had a filter issue.

Yes. Thanks. Knowing that 2.125 is readily available I will investigate more.

Cylinder sizing help

I am new to Thunder’sPlace and seem to be confused about cylinder size still. My current measurements as of 07/27/2022 : BPEL: 7”x EG: 6”. I want to go for girth and length gains, but is it optimal to go for both at the same time? If I ordered a 9x2.25 would I be hurting my length gains by ordering a cylinder a little wider than recommended?

Is that MSEG of BEG? Assuming BEG you want a 2” diameter tube and you shouldn’t pack the tube. If you order a 2.25” there’s much more chance of sucking up your balls into the tube.

Its MSEG

Check your BEG and order based on that and the table in the first post.

It IS confusing.
One of the “how to” comments I found for pumping said that one should begin a session by entering the cylinder fully erect. I am 5.75 EG and 6+ base and a very slight upward curve. With my homemade 2 inch ID sleeve (see my previous postings above) I determined there is no way that I could enter a 2 inch cylinder fully erect. Now maybe if I were super lubed up. But from another “how to” comment I read that lube should be avoided because it will likely cause your sack and or balls to get sucked up into the tube.
These comments make sense from what I remember about pumping years ago while taking a bath. Water was good for a seal, but a little soap would make it too slippery and start sucking the sack into the tube. And when I started out not fully erect I could kind of shake the tube side to side as I got harder to keep from sticking to the sides and help get fully inserted. So a little slop and flop was useful.
Also my old homemade cylinder started out as an acrylic tube with no flange. Even with a foam pad it was still uncomfortable. So I carefully heated and bent an approximately 1/2 inch flange on the base. I know it is not really a size question, but for me it is an essential feature. I posted before my old tube was a 2 inch, but I have grown a little since then and even if I still had it I am sure it would no longer fit.
I am going to order an inexpensive 2.125 cylinder and 2.25 cylinder primarily for sizing purposes. Then I will purchase or fabricate a high quality cylinder with a large flange.
Reminds me of shoe shopping and I have hard to fit feet.

There are dozens of threads discussing entering the tube erect or flaccid. It doesnt matter which; do what is most convenient.

The larger the tube size the greater the chance of sucking in your scrotum. Pressing the tube down firmly until a good seal is established can reduce that occurence.

Lube helps reduce ball burn and pain from skin stretch. It also helps establish a seal when one has dry pubic skin.

I read so many posts, that I forgot this was a sizing thread. As a proud member of the “turkey neck” club… yes, tube size matters.

I have 2.25 and 2.5 tubes. I can’t quite pack 2.25. Pretty much sucking balls from below. I ordered 2inch new tubes. But I couldn’t fit it upright at the base without pumping it at all. Should I not enter the tube vertically but stand up while pumping inside and use this tube to enlarge the mid shaft and above? Does the tube that doesn’t fit in the base hurt?

My goal 9,5 - 8

Tried my 2 inch tube over the weekend. I can enter with oil on the sole. It can be packed in a very short time. But I can’t go to the maximum length because it is too narrow. My dick’s head is quite swollen, preventing air flow from top to bottom. The bottom of my dick is 1 cm this floating is not packed. Should I continue to use it? My packing in 2.25 inch tube requires high pressure 8-9 hg and 2 hours time

I ordered 2.125*9 from leluv, unfortunately there are no 12 inches left. I hope the length doesn’t create bubble problem. I think the 0.125 selection is very important. Every 0.125 increment makes 1 cm. 2 cm elongation in diameter instead of 1 cm is quite a problem

Hi,

I’ve been a forum member for a while and maybe hanging here even 20 years ago. Been a recreational manual exerciser so far but now considering buying my first pump.

Currently I’m at 9.15 - 9,2 length / 6,2 - 6,3 girth and not evolving anymore. Last 2 years around that. If I would buy the hydromax xtreme, should I choose the x40 or x50? Seems like I might be too long for the x40 but x50 on the other hand is way too roomy, especially girth wise.

I’m a lot more interested in girth at the moment but adding length is ok too.
