I am back from a nice month long decon! I have been missing hanging but have been experimenting with other things and am finding my groove.
This might be a bit of a longer post as I have been doing pelvic floor things and seeing a pelvic floor specialist and things that I have experimented with to help fill in my gained BPFSL.
To start here are my updated stats and I will explain why my BPEL is still the same as I last reported.
BPFSL - 19 cm
BPFSL stayed consistent the entire month of being off, I actually could put 19.1 or 19.2 but most pulls are still 19 flat so we are going to be using this as the starting point of this cycle.
BPEL - 17.5 cm
I reported 17.5 cm a couple weeks ago but I am not sure if I was truly 17.5 cm as I was borderline soft clamping and using the temporary numbers unknowingly. Right now when I measure without a girth band I am 17.5 cm. When I soft clamp I am beyond that.
MEG - 12.7 cm
With some of the girth exercises I have been doing to help fill in the BPFSL I did gain some quick MEG.
Lets talk about pelvic floor issues I identified;
I had a feeling my pelvic floor was very tight, went to a Pelvic Floor Physio clinic and the lady did a full examination which did include a finger in my butt and rubbing all along my perineum. She identified that I had a very tight pelvic floor to the point that she was surprised I was able to get an erection and also linked it to why I needed to push so hard to poop including not being able to get it all out. She showed me a picture that explained it all. She looked at the stretches I was performing and added a massage and modified one of the stretches I was doing. I was dedicated to the routine for 2 weeks and then I went on vacation where I did none of the stretches or massages but throughout the day released the tension in my lower body and focused on relaxing my pelvic floor (about 8 times a day for like 15 seconds). Now over the couple weeks I noticed improvement in my erections where I was getting more a day and they were much firmer, and I was pooping much more easily which I chalked up to better eating habits. I was a little bit nervous going back the day after I flew in from vacation as for the last week I did the bare minimum. She asked what I wanted out of the appointment and I said I wanted her to check my progress and we can modify the plan as needed. When she checked me she said I went from being a very tight pelvic floor to a very normal feeling pelvic floor. I was honest with how inconsistent I was because of my vacation. She said that once someone learns how to release their pelvic floor things usually start trending in the right direction rapidly and also credited my young age (32) and being in decent shape to the rapid change. My advice to everyone reading is it doesn’t take much to fix your tight pelvic floor and the key is relaxing throughout the day in my experience. Get a good youtube stretching video and learn how to breath into your pelvic floor and do it throughout the day as you remember.
Now lets move on to what seems to be working for me to fill in that BPFSL.
Soft Clamping;
I love soft clamping, I get great expansion and tend to measure a few mm longer than my erect length which I am guessing is helping stretch those internals. I do it with very little edging and when I do edge to get it back to being solid I really focus on that pelvic floor relaxing. I haven’t been really following a routine just doing it when I have time and usually limiting my time to 5-7 minutes per set and doing 2 sets a session.
Hard Clamping;
I like it. It can be hard to get right which I think might come with practice and I find sometimes I have good sessions and sometimes I don’t. When I get everything right I don’t need to do anything to keep it rock solid which I like but again sometimes that isn’t the case. Same as soft clamping, I have been doing it when I have time and use the same times of 5-7 mins a set and 2 sets.
Pumping;
I just got my pump yesterday so this is hard for me to really comment on but I will give my first impressions. I got a leluv pump off ebay, it did come defective where it slowly loses suction I troubleshooted and found the leak to be on the female end at the top of the cylinder and leluv is sending a replacement connection. For yesterday I just kept pumping it back into the range. I did interval pumping which I did seem to get really good expansion girthwise. (went from 5” to 5.25 but there was a tiny bit of edema but not much) which the pump stuck around for a few hours after the session. The results of the pumping yesterday was great but what I didn’t like was the sunburn feeling on my penis after. Maybe I missed something like putting lube or moisturizer on before I started or it might be something that gets better with conditioning. Showing my wife my post pump her words were “Wow its big” which made me feel really good and she gave me some oral which also was great as with a .25” temporary gain looking much bigger in her mouth. I will continue to try this method and hopefully will get used to using it as I do believe it is a great tool especially being paired with clamping to help make those temporary results a bit more permanent.
Frankextender Apex;
I have this on order with the intent to use it instead of hanging as it seems so much more convenient. I am planning on doing the exact same routine but trying the extender instead. I was a bit hesitant to order because trying to figure out the exact tension but with the Apex Pro coming out with a scale and its going to be something that I can add on to my base Apex to track the exact weight being applied was what made me pull the trigger on it. I am not sure when its going to be arriving but I will answer any questions about it once I get it figured out.
I am still exploring what my routine will be during my hanging cycle but I will keep the logs updated to reflect what I am doing to help me track what works best for me.
Now we can finally get into todays hanging session;
Since I was getting great strain with the weights I was using and with having a full month off I just stuck with the exact same routine and same weight.
April 7th
15 mins @ 2.5lbs no heat
45 mins @ 3.5lbs w/ heat
15 mins @ 4.5lbs no heat (pad left in place)
19 cm - 19.7 cm = 3.7% Strain
I am feeling optimistic and very excited to see what cycle #3 brings me!
