Glad to be a part of this community - thanks to many for all the threads I’ve read and the realization that this can be done in a similar way to the bodybuilding I’ve done. This is the start of a thread that I plan to update with my experience and learning as I go through the process. A few key things I’ve learned so far from reading posts:

1. Planning to start slow - just like bodybuilding, it will take dedication and time - not in a rush
2. Positive Mind Set - I will succeed in this, just like I have with bodybuilding
3. I will track progress monthly in a spreadsheet for BPEL, MEG, BPFSL, BPFL, NBPEL. I’ll average three days of measurements twice a day (morning and afternoon) for each monthly update.
4. I will not overstate starting point or progress - the truth is the truth.
5. I’ve set what I think are realistic goals (see signature)

I appreciate any and all feedback.

Short update since one of the threads I read showed a direct correlation between number of posts and results - presumably keeping involved and being accountable. So, I’ll update periodically.

As mentioned at start - I’m going slow - basically doing
10 minutes of stretching down, up, side, side, straight out, repeat - each with 25 quick kegels (per JP90).
50-100 wet jelqs in shower with conditioner (that’s what it’s for right?)
Using the Jelq Gym as of yesterday - started with 100 yesterday, did 200 today.
My QEP is supposed to arrive late next week, so I plan to start that the week after at 3h/day for the first week and see how it goes.

Supplements
Taking Argenine 1g, and later in day Lysine 500mg. ZMA before bed, B12, Collagen Peptides. I mentioned on another thread that I’m on TRT.

EQ in the middle of last night was crazy.

Slow and steady. Measuring in about five weeks to see if I’ve made any gainz.

I’ve been doing daily 15 minutes stretching in all directions - one minute at a time each position then move to the next.

Have also been using the JelqGym for about a week now - worked up to 150 per day - no rush.

Been doing some conditioner aided shower jelqing each day as well with V-jelqs

Got my Quick Extender Pro today - unfortunately the instructions are on a DVD only - I don’t have one of those anymore. So reading lots of threads I’ve tried to figure it out. The biggest question I have is about initial sizing - anyone with a thread they can point to or first hand experience, please chime in..

I’ve got a NPBEL of 6” give or take 1/8” depending on the day. Using that measurement and the handbook it says my starting level should be 4.4” in the extender. Trouble is I have no idea where to measure the 4.4” is that extender rod total length? Length from the base of the unit to the first band? Should all the line marks be showing or just a couple - I can presume that fewer lines showing means higher tension.

For now - I set it up in a way that I feel it’s fully pulled out to my NBPEL, with all three lines showing, and trying it out this way to see how it goes. I don’t want it set up so that I’m not accomplishing anything, but also no reason to go for broke on the first day.

Anyone with suggestions - I’d really appreciate it.

Turns out all I had to do was email QEP support - they responded within 30 minutes with a PDF that shows how to use it. All set up now, just need to put in the hours!

Three days of 3 hours with the QEP so far and slowly figuring out how to work with it.

Got some baby socks and cut the toe off to make a comfort sleeve - makes it about a billion times more comfortable.

Length setup still not there. They say use EL less 1.6” to start measuring from bottom of base to top of extender rod. I used NBPEL to be safer and to ease into things but I’ve added a few length adjustments and think it needs to be BPEL in order to get any stretch. Seems sort of obvious now, but I’m glad I started at the easier level even if it didn’t do much more than acclimate me to the extender.

I have noticed that the base hole is sort of thin - I’m not wildly thick by any stretch at 5.5”, but it’s tight getting it all the way to the bone where it needs to be. I guess I don’t thin out that much even without erection - IDK - probably just need some more time and attempts to figure it out better.

Took yesterday off after four days in a row at 3h/day - then I’m going for 5 days/2 days moving forward. The QEP is definitely getting easier to manage, but still not that easy to get everything lined up and in place - my frenulum hurts from trying to get it in the noose although I guess as long as I’m careful it will toughen up a bit or at least be less sensitive. I modified the base by using some foam to cushion my pelvis, and using a baby sock with toe cut off for where the straps go. Still need to improve on the strap part somehow, but if I keep tweaking it I have no doubt I’ll get it dialed in.

Definitely felt what I thinkn was my tunica feeling stretched during the day off - I guess healing/adapting to the stretching.

Going for 4-6 hours today - TBD on how things are feeling. At about 3.5h so far today and all is good. I’ve been taking a 15 minute break each 90 minutes or so - that seems to be a good timing for me at this stage.

Doing 20m total of manual stretching before and in between sets with the QEP, and finish the day with the PowerJGym for 200 or so slow jelqs.

It’s early for sure, but I am feeling very confident that this will produce some decent results given that I put in the hours.

Same supplements - L-Argenine 3g, L-Lysine 500mg and Collagen Peptides among my other routine for body building and health.

Girlfriend just ordered an infrared face thing to help build collagen in face - asked her if I can use it on my dick - going to do some reading on that. She’s so cool.

Got some permanent stick velcro and did a mod to replace the noose - didn’t work all that well - need to keep tinkering. So far 3.5h today and current “hot spots” are where the base meets the bone - which I’ve padded, and frenulum are is definitely under load. My head was trapped a little under the front noose and it looks a little bruised. Anyway - taking a break for a few hours and see whether I knock it off for the day or get another couple hours in.

Everything was back to normal after 30 minutes, so logged another 2h. Added in a heating pad and some stretching before after reading so many threads on the importance of heat.

Three hours in today so far. The comfort level is slowly increasing - it’s pretty clear that the first few weeks of using and extender basically sucks as it takes time to get to understand how it works, modifying it for comfort, and getting used to being stretched for hours on end. I continue to use the power j gym in between extender sets - helps get the blood flowing again, and manual stretches. I’ve also been sitting on a heating pad after reading so much about how important heat is. I am becoming more and more confident of gains coming as the days go by. I’ll take my first one month official measurement in a couple weeks and expect to see some smallish gains. I have to believe the real gains will come after acclimation and a month on 8 hours 5 days with 2 days rest per week.

I ended yesterday with 6.75 hours after making more modifications for comfort.

Key is using the outside noose only with the provided padding
Added a velcro strap in place of the innermost noose
Oiled the springs with Olive Oil
Added a small piece of padding covering frenulum and help in place with the infant sock I’m using for comfort to avoid the pinch at strap down time.

Going for 8 hours today - let’s see if I can manage that.

Got 7 hours in yesterday - and 4 hours in so far today. It’s getting more comfortable by the day. For any new extender users - the first two weeks basically sucks as you acclimate and figure out how to put on and take off. Just try to get through it and tweak/modify and keep doing that.

The psychology of doing this is somewhat similar to doing a bodybuilding cut - your mind messes with you big time. Do I need to do this, why am I doing this, etc. My woman doesn’t care - she’s happy with me as I am. But like everything - if you set a goal and want to achieve it, there will be work along the way. For now, I’m in it for the six month gains then I’ll reassess. If I gain, I’ll be glad I did it. Maybe I’ll want to continue - I suspect I will and will likely switch to hanging at that point to break through the common plateau - but who knows.. For now, I just want to see if I can get an extra inch in six months of putting in the work.

Man, I’m looking forward to the weekend rest days coming after the next four hours on the rack!
