Diagnosed with Low T at 22

I finally got around to getting my T tested and my total was in the normal range 585 but my free test was below par. I don’t remember the exact range but it was 8.7 and the minimum was 9 so I was just below that. So Normal total test and low free test. My dr said he will be putting me on HRT. I’ve been reading about it for the past 2 months and know a decent amount of information on it now. For those who don’t remember my previous posts where I complained about my EQ and problems I will see if I can find the thread I made or maybe you can search my posts. Basically my EQ is like a 5. It doesn’t get hard enough for penetration but sometimes it does. I’ve been using sexual enhancers(natural herb kind not cialis or viagra) for the past 2 years to have sex. I can have sex without pills when I take 6g daily of citrulline malate but erection still struggles if I’m on top of her.

I meet with my endocrinologist for the first time on the 19th. Aside from the erection problems I pretty much have all symptoms of low T that I’ve been reading on the net. Some depression, weaker joints(which is the cause of the depression because I haven’t been able to workout parts of my body due to tendonitis), fatigue, lower libido. The only thing that hasn’t been affected is my ability to gain strength in the lifts that I am still able to do. I was 20 when I noticed that I had problems keeping it up when at 18 and 19 my EQ was steel and wouldn’t go away until I wanted it to. I think it was my prolactin that was abnormally high on my results if that’s the thing that signals your testes to make testosterone. the high end was 15 and mine was at 25. I hold my weight in my thighs, ass, and waist even though I’m 18% bodyfat and very muscular. I developed a little gyno(perky nipples with tissue inside) that I hate so much.

For anyone who is on TRT of HRT here what should I expect? Will I be on HCG to preserve my fertility? A little wisdom from anyone knowledgable on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Sucks to be 22 with hypogonadism but I’m starting to accept it. I’ve lifted weights since I was 16 and eat a pretty clean diet but I guess it could happen to anybody.

If it’s only free T that’s low why don’t you get taking Nettle Root extract? It does little to Total T but increases free T by around 50% usually. COuld also run D-Aspartic Acid too, which you don’t need to cycle.

Decemeber 2007: 5.8" BPEL x 4.9" MSEG

Current:-------->7.7" BPEL x 5.7" MSEG (7.2" NBPEL)

Current Goal:--->7.6" BPEL X 5.8" MSEG Do or do not, there is no "try".

After looking at it’s price it seems relatively cheap so I might try that. But haven’t heard many people mention it that much to think it would make that big of a difference. If anyone has used it I’d be happy to hear what you experienced. I also would like to add that my estradial level was 103 which he thought was normal but seemed quite odd to me.

After thinking and further research I’d rather just do the HRT. Going the supplement route woudl be way too many ups and downs. Body eventually getting used to it and having to switch them around and everything returning back to the low end of things. It just seem like I would be a walking roller coaster. I’m anti-medicine on almost anything but as far as hormones go I understand how serious the issue is and am willing to take it if it means not ever feeling this low again. It seems as if strict diet and exercise just doesn’t fix everything by itself. The fact that my worsening joints caused me to cut out half my exercise in my training schedule is just one more reason to just get on hrt and quit trying these “promising” supplements that just isn’t helping much if any at all. Besides, the hrt with insurance would probably be far less in cost than buying all these supplements which I can’t always afford.

Hrt is like PE not sprint but a marathon not that I’m on it but I been reading about it cause steroid use .

If you don’t mind me asking how did this happen from when you were 18-19 100% great to being hypogandisem at 20 ?
And your estradiol is high .

Try the BPS EndoSurge with BPS Formasurge or PES Erase. I will order this stack also.

Your prolactin it is high anf that could cause Ed and depression ask the doctor to give you Dostinex for that.

I tried PES Erase and that had no effect on anything noticable.

Bignik my Dr. told me that it could possibly be high because my body knows the testicles aren’t producing enough test so it’s signalling to produce more trying to over compensate. But not sure. Dostinex seems to have some bad side effects from what I read and the last thing I need is something that would possibly make me feel worse. My depression spawns from the fact that I have to put my fitness goals on hold and not being in control of my dick. I have no idea how it happened in that timespan.

Before you Start HRT I would talk to couple of doctors just for the fact that is only the free test that’s causing the problem . Hrt is for life and you are young that’s why you need to check all the other options first.

So you are primary hypo ?

Not sure when I meet with my endo for the first time i will discuss in detail. My dr doesn’t know much about it obviously if he thinks that 103 estradial is normal so i will find out on the 19th. Not sure if I’m primary or secondary but he said I will be getting more tests on the 19th. But other than hrt what other options are there really to correct this? It’s getting really expensive buying sexual enhancers and it’s annoying waiting 1-2 months after scheduling an appointment to finally visit the dr.

You right doctors don’t know shit . I went couple of days ago for some hormonal test (aas shut down) and I told the doctor I need these test done and he said let’s just do testosterone test . I told him no cause we need to see the other hormones cause that could be fine and the rest could be out of whack . I don’t got those symptoms of low test , I work out , I have motivation , no fatigue just not horny .
But when you talk to your endo she should tell you if you primary or secondary . Primary means your testicle is not signaling and secondary your brain is not . Secondary is very rare , primary is the most common one . And if its primary they shouldn’t put you on hrt right away they gonna try other things like HCG shots or clomid to see if your testicle will respond to that treatment before they put you on Hrt commitment.

Did you ever had any trauma on your balls ? Like getting hit real hard down there if you remember . That’s one cause for primary that’s why I’m asking but then again is just your free rest . Did you ever use any steroids?

Never taken any hits to the balls. Isn’t HCG a form of HRT? I’m thinking that’s what I would probably be on since it preserves fertility? I know that TRT makes men sterile so I know not that. But I think it’s primary since i read that gyno is rare when a person has secondary hypo. He did say that my brain is signalling to the balls to produce more but it’s just not happening.

Hcg is made by pregnant woman piss and it mimics the balls to produce testosterone , you could say is the beginning of hrt but If you respond great to that or Clomid or different options they won’t put you on testosterone gel or injection .

Now these is all the reading I been doing so I’m no expert. But when you do go to the Endo make sure you tell them that you wanna try every other option before they put you on testosterone.

If I respond well to HCG or Clomid that’s what I would be taking until I don’t want anymore kids right? Then switch to testosterone sometime at a later age?

I’m not sure but if you respond well to that they just monitor you for those couples of months that they put you on . And they can’t put you on hcg for a long time or at big amounts cause it desensitized your testicles and Clomid its signal your LH and FSH to raise. These is all to raise your testostrone up and I don’t know what the procedure to unbind free test is . I never heard of anything like it cause your testosterone level its normal .

Remember that HCG raises your estrogen levels also so they might put you on a Al To block the estrogen.
