Hanging 101

Hi 32quarters and everybody else. Merry Christmas!

I have one more question, this time about silicone sleeves when hanging. My flaccid stretched circumference is 9cm / 3.543 inch which is 2.86cm / 1.125 inch of diameter.

The sleeve sizes I can choose from are 21mm and 26mm. Larger one is just 2mm less than my girth so would that be an issue for holding the vacuum. Or would 21mm be to small and restricting blood flow. I know it’s good to take both sizes and see how they fit but don’t have money to spend now. Just want to take 2 sleeves from same size.

Thanks!

In my experience, the main problem with a too-small sleeve is just getting the thing rolled up over the bell you can put it on. The "free with your purchase" sleeves I’ve received were all 20 to 22mm, and they’re pretty much useless, unless there’s some trick that I never learned.

The 26mm should work… but the sleeve stretch over time, eventually it will stretch so much it will no longer maintain a seal. You can fold the bottom over to help that a little, or wrap it with a shoelace, but eventually it will reach the point where you can’t keep it from sliding off.

I wish I have some kind of constructive advice, but you might just wind up flipping a coin.

Hmm well, then I might purchase 2x26mm and by the time they wear off, I will get more, hopefully they won’t wear both off for less than a two months. I’m just afraid that while stretching the penis a lot during hanging will make the girth even smaller and 26mm sleeve would become loose fit.

Regarding the shoe lace tip, don’t you think this small elastic bands (pictures attached) are better option? Or placing them just below the chamber thus preventing a 21mm sleeve to roll over?

As long as they’re not so tight they cut off circulation. You just need something to constrict the sleeve enough that the vacuum will pull it against the shaft for a seal. If you’re just doing straight hanging that can last for a whole session, but the more you move about, the more it will leak, unless the constriction is very tight. It’s time for a new sleeve then.

The "getting thinner when stretched" thing isn’t universal; some guys wind up with partial erections or some edema maintaining their girth.

Excuse my English understanding, but did you mean one piece of sleeve normally lasts one hanging session? They are $17 each. I might give up PE before I’ve started :d

One last thing to ask. Does a FIR Pad able to penetrate trough silicone without much delay? Specifically TotaIman pad? I read one thread of Scienceguy, he made a spreadsheet with temperatures but was no mention of silicone sleeves.

Sorry if I’m watering this thread and thank you for answering!

I’ve been using the very cheap Chinese sleeves from eBay, about US$5. They’re about 120mm long; I don’t cut them down.

I’ve never used one of the more-expensive sleeves from the PE vendors, that usually come in long lengths that have to be cut. The Chinese sleeves might not last as long.

I get six weeks out of a Chinese sleeve before it stretches so much it doesn’t hold vacuum any more. I get another couple of weeks by using pieces of old stretched-out sleeve to double up and add more compression.

Because I have trouble folding the smaller-diameter sleeves up over the bell, I use large-diameter sleeves, only a few mm smaller than my girth. So they don’t have to stretch much before they’re too big. A better-quality sleeve might be easier to fold over the bell.

I don’t know about the IR transparency of the silicone sleeves. However, I once looked up the types of plastic used in pump tubes, then looked up their specifications, and found all of them are virtually transparent to the 660 and 850nm wavelengths used in the infrared LEDs used in Red Light Therapy lamps.

I can’t disagree with the above. When my sleeves wear out, I roll them up and use them just aft of the vacuum cup on the new sleeve to prolong the seal. Never store the sleeve rolled up as well, unwrap it and wash, whilst leaving it to dry. Keep it clean, your skin will thank you.

I also us older sleeves for ADS using large ball hanging weights on my cock, leaving the glans exposed for urinating.

Nice, I purchased 2x26mm sleeves (hope they fit), totalman heat pad, chamber and spares. They will be shipped today and I’m start hanging soon .l. .l. .l. .l.

Problems getting vacuum on TotalMan Vacuum Hanger

Hi fellow hangers,
I am a proud owner of the TM VAC Hanger. First it worked okayish and the vacuum remained. But a third try in the morning left me with a exhausting 1 hour trying to get vacuum constant. The bell always slips over my glans. What am I doing wrong?

- Try 20-80% erected before applying micropore
- Apply micropore tape behind the glans (1 round ~2,5cm width
- Zip over the "hoody" badana
- Apply terraband around the micropre (1round ~ 2,5cm width)
- Put over the bell
- Retrieve the silicone around the shaft

Mostly I have problems keeping erection during the installation. After pumping with the TM accordion pump the vacuum leaks. I tried it 5 times this morning with no success. I AM FRUSTRATED like hell.

Cannot watch TM videos again because it is so much bloated and 90% waste of my time. However it is not working for me.

Anyone of you guys found an installation routine that is working for VAC hangers? Thank you so much !

Try reaching the Total Man video library for ‘Water Protection Method.’

You use water in the vacuum bell instead of tape to protect your glans skin under vacuum. I find it much faster and easier than taping, have never had a blister from using it (I’ve gotten a few from taping when the tape starts to pull away from the skin during a long session) and, of course, water is available pretty much everywhere while tape is a supply you have to constantly keep on hand. Plus if you are using the setup for a long session, like an ADS, then resetting after a toilet break is very easy with the water technique. The tape technique can be a challenge.

Once I learned it I’ve never taped again and it has gone very well.

One thing to know is that you have to condition your glans with this method, so start low weight and work your way back up if you’re already doing vacuum hanging. Don’t jump right back to your weight from before.

Good luck!

Make sure the sleeve around the shaft hasn’t stretched and leaking air. If so see my attached picture above with small elastic bands.

Also make sure the chamber valve is put tightly. There is one black rubber ring on the valve which needs to go fully in chamber’s hole.

I had the same problem as you. I’ll tell you what someone told me. Unless I’m with you attaching it to your specific dick (and I don’t want to), you need to analyze this yourself by actually taking the time to go through his videos. They are very detailed, and key points are sometimes 2 seconds. You need patience to keep up with PE, otherwise you will quit with frustration (which you already seem have a lot of).

Hope this helps put it in perspective for your long term gains.

Your time is too precious to waste watching an educational video, but you want others to commit their precious time educating you instead???

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Booom ! Man you deserve the golden penis medal. Thank you so much for pointing this video out. I really had to use the search function because this video did not show up under "Accessoires". This method looks promising to me and I am very happy to try it tomorrow.

For the others thanks so much for pointing out I have to find the best fit - as each dick is individually. Sometimes good hints makes a steep learning curve, which I am so grateful to have this forum.

What makes you think I don’t already have a trophy case filled with golden penis medals? ;)

Just kidding. So glad the info is useful. Keep us posted on your results!
