Bruised my penis during sex.

Yea I bruised my penis during sex. I must be getting a little too big in girth for my steel cockring. I was using it Thursday night during sex and I started feeling pain when I got hard and penetrated the wife. I kept going and when we were done I looked at it and it was all black and blue and red from ring about 3/4’s up the shaft.

After I came the pain wasn’t as bad but man did it look bad. So I grabbed some ice and went to the bathroom and wrapped my shaft in a washcloth. That helped alot because Friday morn it looked much better. So my questions are do you think I’m ok? What else can I do to heal it? What exactly happened to make it bruise like that? Thanks

I think you answered your own question: “I must be getting a little too big in girth for my steel cockring.” Blood leaves the penis via veins on the dorsal (upper) side, both the ones you can see and some that are deeper. A steel ring can compress those veins. Thrusting and other movements during sex can put a lot of stress on the penile tissues. If the veins are compressed during this time it’s possible for them to rupture and cause a loss of blood into the tissues. The body will repair the damage, but you should look for a larger steel ring or get something more flexible. Waiting a few days before having sex or doing PE would be advisable.

I’ll have to use the rubber noodle type one with a slip lock that I have instead. How long should I go w/out sex? Can I do PE sooner if I’m only hanging? Do you do Fowfers on off days? Thanks

What about wrapping one of the larger rings with theraband or something?

I use an adjustable(snaps) leather strap, behind the balls, it seems pretty safe.

Be careful. Penile fracture of the albuginea has similar symptoms. The ringlike bruise formation does sound more localized though, so it might not be.

Me? I don’t have an active PE routine these days. You should be able to do them.

Silicone rings without nubs would work as well. I was thinking more along the lines of safety. The rubbery ones are easier to remove and don’t cause any damage if compressed against a bone or something.

Since I don’t have sex often, and never with women, I can’t answer the last part. I have some silicone rings and they seem to last long enough for my purposes. Your mileage may vary. You’ll have to ask a straight guy about the clit part. ;)
