Completely Honest: My Experience With PE and Recovering From Hard Flaccid

I am sorry for posting this in the basics forum. I’m not experienced enough on Thunder’s Place to post in the injury forum. I’m writing this in hopes that if someone goes through my same situation, they can find some answers. Therefore, this is going to be a long post, as it is something I wish I knew when I got into this situation. Lastly, I’m not claiming that PE doesn’t work. I believe that it does. It is just not for me.

After doing about a month and a half of manual stretching, jelqing, and edging, I have decided to stop PE altogether. I experienced a small amount of growth in this time, but I believe a lot of it was due to increased EQ. Various issues such as looser skin, a desensitized penis, and an unhealthy mental state surrounding my penis size are the main reasons why I have made this decision. From the start, my partner has made it clear that she is very happy with my size, and our sex life has never suffered because of any size related issue. I am pretty average, around 5.6 inches long and 5 inches in girth, but I have learned to read her body well over the many years of our relationship. I know exactly which position, speed, and angle to use depending on the sensation I want to give her. Any size increase from PE was just supposed to be bonus, not necessity. Once the negative side effects started to show up, I decided that the cons outweighed the pros, given my situation.

After stopping however, I experienced what is known as hard flaccid. When flaccid, my penis still feels somewhat stiff on the inside, particularly in the corpus cavernosum. It is now frequently retracted, or turtled, and is about an inch shorter in flaccid girth and length. I can feel a tightness in my groin area, and I don’t like how small my penis normally is now when not erect. I know that many people in the PE community are skeptical about whether or not there is such a thing as hard flaccid, but I promise I am being honest, as are many other men who are having the same issue. I will not provide pictures because on the outside, it just looks like a small flaccid penis. The best way I can describe it is if your penis was experiencing shrinkage, like when it is very cold, except it doesn’t hang normally again once it gets warm. It is always in shrinkage mode. I believe that I developed this from doing kegels a bit too hard while jelqing and stretching, as well as edging for too long after a workout. Keeping my erection at 100% for an excessive period of time really overworked my pelvic floor. During an erection, the corpus cavernosum fills up to harden the penis. The pelvic floor then tightens to ensure that the penis remains filled. With hard flaccid, your pelvic floor is overactive, remaining tightened even after the erection has subsided. This means that the corpus cavernosum always stays slightly full and rigid, even when flaccid. This is why the flaccid penis feels tight with hard flaccid. Many men report feeling like "there is a hard tube inside the flaccid penis." This is the slightly full corpus cavernosum that is being maintained by an overactive pelvic floor.

Many men go to doctors and urologists only to be told that there is nothing wrong with their penis. This is very discouraging for these men because they feel broken and uncomfortable. However, these doctors are correct - there is nothing physically wrong with the penis with hard flaccid. It is a pelvic floor issue. The best way to heal from hard flaccid is to rest, do exercises that relax the pelvic floor, and try to relieve anxious feelings. Anxiety can actually cause the pelvic floor to subconsciously tighten, so relaxing psychologically can definitely make a difference - especially if you’ve been freaking out over what is wrong with you flaccid penis. Here is a good set of exercises you can do to relieve hard flaccid by teaching the pelvic floor to relax and become normal again:

6 Exercises to Relieve Male Pelvic Pain | The Pelvic Pain Clinic

This is a real thing. However, it is not an indictment of PE. I believe that PE works and can help many men. For others however, it can cause hard flaccid. Understanding how to heal hard flaccid is important, as many men spend far too long worrying and thinking that it is a penile problem, when it is actually due to a chronically tightened pelvic floor. Do the exercises I provided, try not to vigorously masturbate, and relax your anxieties. Don’t worry, because you will be okay with time. If someone wants to move this to the injuries forum later, I think that would be best as it will be in a more appropriate place. For everyone in the PE community, please believe that this is real, but also understand that it is not an attack on PE. Accepting that this is an issue that can arise from PE, understanding how it works, and providing men dealing with this the resources they need to resolve it is a much more compassionate choice than trying to invalidate what they are going through. In the end, it will actually make the PE community more inclusive, knowledgeable, and safe. If you have hard flaccid, resolve it, and want to continue PE afterwards, just make sure to go easy on the kegels, and don’t edge too long or too vigorously. As for me, I’m going to work to resolve my hard flaccid, but then I’m going to be happy with where I am. If anything, this experience has just made me appreciate having a working penis at all. I will carry the flag for average guys who have an excellent stroke game and can still make women melt. Good luck to everyone else with their PE progress, truly. I will try to respond to this thread for anyone who has questions or for as long as it is still active.

Thanks for reading.

Thank you for sharing. I think it’s extremely important for people to be aware of the possibility of this happening. Any update…?

Have you done some research yourself? It says in most articles that there isnt much clinical information of this “syndrome”. It actually came from forums, and it is characterised by erectile dysfunction. Inability to get erections. And it is unknown even for doctors. And as part of our physiologic indication here in PE, loss of function is a negative PI. Members here will advise you not to continue with such.

As one of the rules stated here, you do this on your own risk. PE is not scientifcally proven (meaning nobody has ever officially written a research regarding this). All you see in the forum here are based on opinions with a few bit of studies indirectly related to penis growth.

However, the guys here have been doing this for years with massive benefits as claimed, and it is not one guy but numbers of guys. I am not disregarding injuries, but like I have said, it is completely up to you what to believe. You need to do your own research mate. Don’t rely on one opinion. Gather as much information as you can. This is your dick, not everyone elses. You protect yours.

I dont think there will be an answer from Voyager. He made this post over 2 years ago then hasn’t been back.

@Tomluciano 123 (side not I realize he won’t respond, but I believe this thread is genuinely important and relevant for some)
It is absolutely a legitimate condition that has unfortunately not been extensively researched In the medial community. What exactly causes it is not entirely known, but most seem to agree that it has to do with the the muscles in your pelvic floor and pudendal nerve damage in the pelvic floor. This may also cause a secondary reaction in your sympathetic nervous system which can be Chronic. Most people have to see a pelvic floor specialist to try and resolve it.

He just wanted to point out that it’s often dismissed and stigmatized in this community and that he doesn’t believe it should be. Yes PE Is safe for the overwhelming majority and effective for many too. That doesn’t mean they should dismiss these types of injuries just because it doesn’t happen to most people.

Hard flaccid happens as the result of an injury to the glans. Many don’t realize it when it happens and so there is a lot of debate about this topic but seriously this occurs by some sort of physical damage to the glans resulting in messed valves in the blood vessels. For me I was jelqing and literally felt the blood vessels burst and I urinated some blood. My urethra had torn inside the glans. The hard flaccid happens because the three chambers of the penis are a strange balancing act with one chamber down the pressure inside the remaining two gets all whacked out. The valves in the vessels feeding and exiting the glans aren’t functioning properly (trapping blood) so it’s like trying to blow air into a balloon with a hole in it. However, it is possible heal blood vessels and for me what did the trick was taking l-arginine, l-lysine, and a one a day multivitamin to ensure that I wasn’t deficient in any substance that can contribute to my healing. The thing about arginine and lysine though is that they compete for transport into cells since they use the same transport channels and mechanisms so you have to take them at different times or you simply excrete one or the other. CAREFUL with the arginine, it is the only nutritional supplement that you can see a definitive impact on body, it made all of my blood vessels HUGE including blood vessels on my penis. Arginine is a precursor to nitric oxide which helps tremendously with achieving erections but it also has the benefit of enlarging your blood vessels. Seriously, if you take arginine (I did 1000mg 3 times a day) you will notice a very quick improvement in EQ and blood vessel diameter. But again it’ll make other blood vessels bigger too like on your forehead and literally every on your body (I was most displeased with the forehead vein) but the results were surprising. Lysine is a super important fundamental building block of your body and pretty much all proteins, if you eat meat it has lysine but you need to take 4 to 6 GRAMS of it daily to see the therapeutic benefit of it. That means taking 2 or 3 500mg tablets several times a day. I had read that someone took a combination of arginine and lysine to heal their firm flaccid and it worked for me too. You have to start the supplements right away I think, at least I did. It’s hard to imagine there being much to do if you’ve had the condition for years. I believe arginine could still help though just because of how dramatic the change in my blood vessels was. I hope this helps someone. You can heal from this. What the OP said about pelvic floor dysfunction is valid to some extent, it’s what I initially thought was going on but ultimately I just massaged my penis every other night before bed after doing a hot wrap like you would before a PE exercise and took the supplements and it healed, but it takes 6 to 8 weeks minimum to heal it before you can masturbate or have sex or do PE—if you re-injure it you run the risk of permanent sexual dysfunction and decreased size so for the love god give your guy a break and take care of him for a couple months. Good Luck everyone and anyone has questions or just needs to talk to someone about this feel free to message me, I was incredibly depressed and it helped to know I wasn’t alone.

RandomActs, the type of injuries you describe usually are caused by excessive force. I don’t know if you started too fast or too hard, but the type of inguries you describe sound like that.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Thank you so much, buddy! Thats exactly what ia happening to me. I felt the veins of my glan kind of hurting while doing too much pressure on jelqing. Any other thing I can do? Besides the suplements.

Thank you again

Yo también estoy pasando por lo mismo.

Why is this thread dead?
I’m experiencing what I believe to be hard flaccid.
I’m on decon and have been for a week and a bit, but my flaccid after about 5 days of decon shrunk in girth and length. My flaccid feels tense and tight. When I squeeze it, it feels stiff as if there’s a firm tube inside the TA.

This sucks, my night time erections are terrible. They’re more like stiff expanded flaccids instead of an erection.

My penis just doesn’t hang like it used to while doing PE. What is the cause? I don’t believe it’s a glans issue. Maybe a pelvic floor thing. If so I’ll try the pelvic floor relaxation methods and report back. Hopefully someone can make this thread alive again. Or even help me through this, as I can not get hard.

I’ve been to a GP, they said “it looks normal to me!”. So I’m lost now

No penis is different. What works for one, will work for another.

I hang with an incredibly light weight. I spend 15 mins hanging at 1.1kg. Then I increase weight to 1.4kg and hang there for 15 mins and then I’m done. I refuse to believe I’ve injured my glans when there’s people who hang 5-10kgs off their dick.

I want to stress that my flaccid is so thin it’s making me start to stress. It’s almost as if it’s getting thinner and thinner and about to turn into a noodle.

The best way I can describe it is my flaccid feel tight, wrangly and firm. (By wrangly I mean it’s thin floppy and firm)

It Must Be Tight Pelvic Floor

I’d like to point out that when I take a dump, and I’m I push really hard. I notice my flaccid goes back to how it used to be. But after I’m done, and I get up, that’s when it goes back to the thin spaghetti dick. I don’t believe it’s an injury with the glans.

No penis is different. What works for one, will work for another.

I just managed to get an erection after trying for a while. This was while i was in the shower. My erections are still the same length and girth.Something i noticed is that when my erection starts to fade, its stiff and tight rather than it going soft and squishy like how it normally does. While i was soft it was almost like i had a semi. It seems as if the penis was holding the same position as my erection but while flaccid. This eventually went away and now i have a speghetti dick. But its unusual. Ill note that when i go take a piss, it takes a bit of standing there and trying to flex the right muscle to actually start the stream. Its not a continous flow, there are times it runs out and i have to press or flex for the rest to come out. I do feel some "dropping" or moving of what i assume to be the pelvic floor muscle right before taking a piss. I also go very frequenty and find myself holding onto it hard while i somewhat run to the toilet.

Maybe this is a bit too much info, but im sure its helpful for the other reading this that experience the same.

"I also go very frequenty and find myself holding onto it hard while i somewhat run to the toilet."

What you’re talking about seems more related to the prostate, friend.
