How does one heal a huge blister?

Whoa, with a blister like that you can say byebye to that pump. At least for quite a few months. I had a way smaller blister in the point of my glans, and even 6 monhts - later just a little pumping would bring it back. That thing is painful AF after it breaks. Make sure you got anything that works for killing bacteria so it don’t get infected. Alcohol is painful AF.. it works, but you’ll prolly see the milky way in the process.

Then it’s time for the thing to go. I “babied” mine, but found out that this does no good. I would:
1. Sterilize a needle.
2. Pop the blister and let it drain out.
3. Wash it off.
4. Let the loose skin fall off on its own over time

Give it lots of air. The skin will not go back down; it’s a goner. Let it fall off.

Sadly that’s the wrong thing to do.The fluid inside that blister is not only bathing the new forming skin with the moisture it needs to mature but at the same time, and more importantly it prevents bacterial infection infecting the immature epidermis or skin. Now can you pop a blister? Sure you can and if you can keep it clean no problem. Tell me how you can keep that skin clean all day long hiding under your Fruit of the Looms?

As Don said, I also opted to control the popping of the blister using a sterilized needle. Allowing the skin to come down and rest over the new skin. I then kept it clean with soap and water and used Neosporin with gauze over it.

Keep it clean and rest up, it will heal.
