Is It Safe To Apply Antibacterial Ointment On Foreskin/frenulum?

Got wound / chaffed foreskin from penis extending. I read that antibacterial ointment(like terramycin) soothes and promotes faster healing. Just wondering if is it safe to apply regularly (when there is a chaffed or wound skin)? Would there be side effect?

I remember somebody promoted corticosteroid but it makes the skin thinner in long term use and has withdrawal side effects.

But how about antibacterial ointment?

It’s probably not worth it unless you are worried it might get infected (or it’s infected). But yeah, some ointments might sting but if it’s suitable for skin, it’s suitable for the penis. Try a small amount as a test first.

Time is the best healer.

Soap and water does work wonders.
