Reddish Bump

Recently after hanging I noticed a reddish bump, oval in shape and no larger than 1/4”x1/8” on the underside of my penis about 1/3 of the way up my shaft. It is not painful nor does it feel really hard, rather you can pick up the skin and sort of roll it between your fingers and it gives a little, almost as if it were filled with some sort of fluid. The skin on top is pinkish/reddish and smoother than the rest of my penis. Could this be a thrombosed vein? It doesn’t seem to be lying on or near any veins that I can see.

Sounds more like you pinched yourself with your hanger and/or wrap and caused some skin swelling. Did it go away? Have you continued hanging? What kind of hanger are you using?

I’m using a Redi-Stretcher, but I have a Bib on the way since I haven’t found the RS to be able to tighten enough to prevent my skin from starting to slip up over my head (my head is somewhat small relative to the size of my shaft). It seems to be getting smaller slowly (over about 4 days), and I think I probably just irritated the skin somewhat like you say, just wanted to make sure. I hung the day after it happened and it didn’t seem to hurt it or make it worse, but for now I’m taking a short break until it’s gone.

Well I waited another day and it looked all but gone so I did one set of clamping and now it’s a purple spot. I think it might be a burst capillary or something.

Thanks for not calling it “thrombosed.” :) A bruise shouldn’t cause you much trouble. Just be careful with folds in the wrapping material and placement of the hanger gripping parts.
