Smalle pimple like thing on glans

I recenlty noticed this small pimple like thing on my glans. I am trying to put some of my pimple cream I have left over on it. It’s nothing big, but I would like it to be gone.

Do you wear boxers/briefs under your pants might have caught on zipper…

I work in health care, but my knowledge of dermatology is limited. If you’re in doubt, you should definitely go see a doctor.

My first thought was (from your description) what’s called penile papules. They are whitish, may appear pearly, and normally occur in about 20-50% of men (depending on source reference.) You can have a few, or a lot more like this guy (see attached.) I never had any before, but a few years ago, a couple appeared. I was told they were completely normal.

Along with the picture, here are some questions to ask yourself:
1. Do they look like anything in the picture? (You can have one, or a lot like this guy.)
2. Is the pimple cream working? (Papules won’t respond to pimple cream.)
3. Where exactly is it on the glans? Along the ridge of the glans?
4. When you squeeze just the shaft just behind the glans, do you see any others appear along the ridge? (You may have more, in a deeper layer of dermis.again, completely normal.)

Thanks for the help, but fortunatly mine are nothing like any of those. Some of those pics sort of grossed me out. My thing is MUCH smaller, it is skin color(barley noticable), and not that bumpy.

FYI, my papules are hardly noticeable either (I.e. Very very small, only a couple, not bumpy, almost completely subdermal and skin coloured) and definitely NOTHING like what that poor guy in the pic has. No girlfriend has ever even noticed either.

Sorry for the ‘gross out’ site link .. Yeah, those dermatology pictures show “full-blown” cases. Can’t say I’d want to be a dermatologist / urologist and deal with stuff like that every day!

All I can suggest is if it doesn’t disappear soon, see a doctor.

But the thing is, it is only like one thing. It’s not a set or anything, it’s just one thing.

Have you tried popping it? Kind of like a zit…
