Weird annoying sensation at penis tip

I have been dealing with an injury since March 3 that involves an annoying tingling sensation at the tip of the glans (meatus). The sensation can come and go, but is especially pronounced after attempts to jelqing and edging. It also can get irritated after peeing, and it sometimes feels like I haven’t completely emptied out the urethra even when I have. I am circumcised.

The problem began when I did a hard girth squeeze routine after having warmed up for the first time ever using a new IR heater. I don’t recall any sensations of having burned myself, but this IR heater was a completely new variable at that time. Another possible variable: I had been using the LG Hanger for about 4.5 months, which would cause a temporary swelling of the meatus and slight extra skin growth/elongation at the bottom of the meatus, but I don’t recall having any lasting pain or discomfort directly caused by the LG hanger — until the fateful girth squeeze session.

I took several weeks off, and a tender spot just underneath the glans went away. Once the sensation in the tip was more or less gone, I tried an easy jelqing session on March 25. That brought the sensation back, but not nearly as bad a the discomfort that occurred when the injury first happened.

I continued to stop PE and only did occasional masturbation sessions simply to keep the penis in use and prevent the loss of more gains/erection quality.

However, last week I did masturbate longer and a bit harder than normal due because I struggled to keep an erection (I just felt no desire that day), and the irritation at the tpip came back, although not as bad as the first or second time.

I have none of the other common STD symptoms, such as any discharge or burning pain during urination. Normally I would have gone to visit a urologist by now, just to confirm it’s not an STD, but medical offices here aren’t doing regular visits due to coronavirus. I hope to get an appointment soon though.

So, I am curious whether anyone else has experience with this type of annoying sensation, and whether it will eventually go away or may be permanent. My worry is that I caused some sort of lasting nerve damage that might have been exacerbated by the use of the LG Hanger. I’ve completely stopped all PE since this happened, aside from that easy jelqing attempt a month ago.

I am curious too as I have just had this sensation after jelqing too long yesterday. I’ve had it before but yesterday was the worst for this random stinging pains. Going to take a few days off, I’d advise you to do the same hopefully nothing too bad.

I had similar sensation while I was using Bib.
I woke to a strong sensation like a bee bite on side of my glans tip. I inspected it and went back to sleep.
This only happened with morning wood and no signs of damage on glans. Sex was fine.
This happened for 3-4 days until I stopped hanging. I was half asleep but the pain was annoying.

Been 2 weeks , it never happened again. On a break from PE.

~HRoark any gains from LG Hanging?

I am hoping that this problem will also disappear in time, but am just worried that it’s taking many weeks. I have some days where I can’t feel it, then it comes back on others.

I did gain about 0.2 inches over 4+ months with the LG hanger. I unfortunately had a scare earlier this year due to lots of burst capillaries on my glans from a bad session on the hanger, which combined with this latest problem, convinced me that the risks aren’t worth it. I did get up to 8.75 lbs for as many as 2 one-hour sessions for ‘on’ days. I’ve since lost all of that and more during my forced break due to injury.

Yoga , tennis ball massages would be another option.

Was your injury from hanging or girth exercises ? Seems you were doing too many things together, hanging itself is intense.
I am planning to get a LG myself and try 20minx3 session.

I have two injuries right now, and the weirder one, the glans sensation injury, was caused by girth exercises. I had been doing girth exercises on my non-hanging days.

You can see from my profile that I’ve been doing PE since 2003. My gains came so slowly that I decided last year I needed to really up the intensity to break through my long plateau. That seemed to be working until these back-to-back injuries, which are by far the worst I’ve ever experienced.

So if and when I can return to PE I intend to try more low-key exercises. I’ve never taken a break for 3+ months in my 17 years of PE, so it will be interesting to see if that helps me achieve any faster future gains. I’ll hit the 2 months-off mark next week, but got a feeling it will take longer to fix the nerve issue.

I forgot to ask you the sort of tennis ball massage that could help a hit nerve.
What would you suggest?

Hi, I was going through some pegym post, found pain in penis, testicles (dull ache), and urethra (usually burning or stinging) is a symptom of pelvic floor dysfunction .

Suggest you try the Pelvic floor exercises,

I spent much of the weekend digging through any relevant posts here and PEgym, and this may indeed be a problem related to the pelvic area and not simply the urethra. I was reluctant at first to believe that, because the sensation is entirely on the urethra tip, but it is starting to make sense. I now recall how I had been kegeling when doing the girth squeezes that started this, and the fact that tension in those muscles while either masturbating or squeeze off the last drops of urine when pissing could irritate the problem. Also, over the weekend I was at a friend’s outdoor fire pit and noticed minor irritation as the evening wore on, which I think was from slightly contracting those pelvic muscles due to the cold temperature.

Since that self discover on Saturday, I have been consciously trying to always relax pelvis area and not contract it at all. I even j/o on Sunday making sure to do zero kegel-type squeeze, and it went fine.

But the biggest relief is the possibility that my penis itself isn’t damaged. This almost seems too good to be true, though, so I’ll give it a few more weeks of rest before I declare myself healed.

I haven’t done any of the pelvic exercises yet because I’m not sure what to do and it was using my pelvic area to kegel that may have caused all this.

I’m relieved to report that the problem is gone. The solution was making a conscious effort to not tense my pelvic area or do any kegeling. I’m still shocked that weird sensations on the tip of my urethra could be related to what’s happening in my pelvic area, but that seems to be the case. The problem lasted about 2 months.

The only unanswered question is whether the sensations (and even the mild pain that it started with) will come back when I start back into a PE routine. But for now I’m just happy that this doesn’t look to be permanent. This is a big relief.

Soy nuevo en este blog y me gustaría comentarles un pequeño problema que me ha surgido unos días atrás y que aún tengo.

Empecé a hacer los ejercicios para novatos con calentamiento, estiramientos y jelq correspondiente, y la verdad que todo iba bien, pero un día al despertarme noté como molestia
Interna en el glande, creo que tiene que ver con algo de los nervios internos del glande. Digo esto porque si que es verdad, que al hacer los estiramientos ahorcaba demasiado el glande y tiraba mucho de él y a veces
Se me resbalaba y me hacia un poco de daño. Soy puro novato y tengo que pulir muchas cosas pero necesito de vuestra opinión, pero en definitiva es eso, tengo como molestia interna sensación de irritación pero no se bien que puede ser.

A vosotros os ha pasado, que puedo hacer? De momento solamente estoy tomando descanso, si es algo de los nervios no se cuanto podría tomar, espero sus respuestas amigos!
