What The Heck Is Going On? This Keeps Happening :(

Use shorter sets until you have your technique and circulation in order. The less circulation there is during a PE exercise, the shorter the sets should be. So keep your sets to 15 minutes roughly, unless you know you are getting good circulation, then you can test out longer sets if you still want to. I’ve found even with “good” circulation while hanging though, it’s still impeded somewhat, so it doesn’t hurt to limit sets to 20 minutes just as a good habit for general health and injury avoidance. And discoloration avoidance.

Is it normal to have circulation slowed or stopped during vac hanging? I have not read anywhere that it is and I used to hang for 1 hour sets twice a day and still had healthy pink looking glans at the end of it that were the same temp as before. Could I have gotten a blood clot somewhere and that may be cutting circulation? I am so confused and scared I will have to stop PE for more than two months again or for good if I cannot get this solved. I don’t want to stop at 5.5” :,( lol

It’s probably technique and attachment based rather than an internal problem with your circulation, but that’s possible. I wouldn’t worry about it as long as your EQ is fine.

You don’t have to stop PE, there are 1000 ways to PE, and 1 of them has complications - 999 other options.

If you’re dead set on vac hanging - you’ll have to hang low weight and low times while you work on technique changes that fix the problem.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION!!! So it was a circulation issue! I just did two super short hanging sets, 13 min and 15 min and used lots of heat before and during my hanging session and no strange dark colors! All is good and I am beyond happy that I found the solution!!! Thanks a ton for your support.

Your either using to much vacuum,or not wrapping right.I used my LG hang everyday and have done hanging for 2 years and never had that problem.Look into my thread week or 2back pics. There is a wrapping method that I use that I think will help. I pump the glans dome to 15 hg and never have any problems,but I also wrap really suficiant for it to.Hope this helps.

I actually started adding heat and actually doing a warmup, which I did not do before, and the problem went away. I am going on day two of hanging without the issue. Thanks so much for the input and I will definitely read your thread. I always am looking to learn more!

Ok, nvm it happened again today but a lot worse. Like DARK purple and spotted white and orange. I was only using 5-7 hg. I will read through your thread and try out your wrapping technique and hope it helps.

So what I am doing is

1. Rice sock warmup for about 10 minutes warming up my groin, penis and the area around my groin
2. My wrap covers all of my glans
3. Start hanging and use only about 5-7HG
4. Hang at about 3lbs
5. Hang for 20 minutes with the LG vac hanger
6. When I remove the LG and the wrap my glans look dark purple, bruised and like there is no oxygen flowing down there.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Ah I see it is more or less the same as the vac hanger I used. I only ever hung light weights with it.

I never wrapped my glans or anything. I always used water as the medium rather than air (thanks capernicus1 for that tip). I’d just put a silicone sleeve along the shaft, leaving a little space between the sleeve and my glans, then attach the hanger by rolling a second sleeve over the hanger and the first, then I’d pressurize the top, making sure to leave some water in the bell.

It was quite a fuss to get a good attachment, sometimes I’d have to reset it multiple times during a workout.

But I never had this exact problem you’re having.

Are you using water or air?
Have you tried not wrapping vs wrapping?
Are you using two sleeves or one?
Is your glans getting squashed somehow as the hanger repositions itself under weight?

Just throwing out ideas. Hanging technique can be very individual.

I am using air
I have not done a serious hanging session not wrapped but I may try that since I have never had an issue with blisters
I am also only using one sleeve with my penis tip fully inserted into the dome then I unroll the sleeve down my shaft
Yes, is it getting squished against the end of the cup that my head is in. Should it not be?

I don’t have enough experience vac hanging to say what the ideal technique is. Almost all my hanging experience is with the BIB. And as I said hanging technique can be very individual.

That said, I’d try experimenting with changes in all 4 of the things listed.

Leave some space between your glans and the “end of the cup” so that the medium (air or water) becomes a depressurized “cushion” so to speak between your glans and the vac bell.

Try water instead of air.

I don’t know anything about wrapping, but try hanging without it.

For the second sleeve, I used it mostly to get a good seal because of low girth, but couldn’t hurt to try it, might provide more comfort or help with this circulation problem somehow.

Basically keep changing things up on your technique until you find something that works. Try one change at a time so when you hit on something that works, you’ll know exactly what it was.

After taking a look at the photos you posted, I’m not really seeing anything that would cause me concern. The stress put upon your glans from the vacuum pressure can cause some discoloration. It’s not uncommon for me to experience similar side effects. After I’m finished with my hang session and have removed the chamber it doesn’t take more than 5 - 10 minutes before skin color returns to normal. When I get above 12 lbs. I’ll even experience a little redness and puffiness right at the urethra opening (meatus), that too will completely disappear within 20 - 30 minutes.

As for the coldness you are experiencing.. That indicates things are a little too snug, and I would recommend a larger size sleeve.

I think you and dragon are on to something. My glans does compress into the cup and the sleeve is a bit thin. The pictures also do not show the color very well. My glans look like they are severely bruised, DARK purple and spotted and take several days to return to normal alongside the coldness. I will try the larger sleeve and also moving my glans back so they are not right up against the cup as currently, they form to the cup which I am unfamiliar if that is good or bad right now.
