Any experiences with Melanotan

To get to the point: I’m white, which is actually not a bad thing at all.
Yet I feel I’m a bit too white - I feel others experience me as cold and chilly at first sight. Some tan would do me good, yet I’m anything but a sun worshiper.

Melanotan seems to be a great alternative: not much need to get exposed to dangerous UV rays, no tanga-stripes on my hips ;-)
Has anybody tried and tested this medication yet?

It does sound interesting, would be great to see if anyone here has used it.

There is a whole forum dedicated to just that drug on the net. People were making it in their homes as knockoffs too. You supposely have to take it by injection, so I stopped right there reading.

Really? Like after injection, or during stress, during sports? Other side-effects?
Which one are you taking? I or II ?
Does it work for your tan though?

Hm, I have misread, I was thinkin melatonin.

Good stuff makes you nauseous at first.

I used Melanotan II a few years ago for a short cycle while on vacation in the tropics,
Results:
1.Sporting wood every time the breeze came up! Good!
2.Did not burn as I normally would! Good
3.Did not get tan/burn lines like normal! not so good
4.Only available as injectable! Badd!
5.Freckles darkened! Not good, but what the hell! I’m a redhead I don’t tan ,my freckles just grow together.
6.Slightly more sensitive to alcohol! I think, maybe, it was vacation, did I mention tropical beaches.

Did I mention this experiment occurred in Thailand and that item one was tested for functionality several times a day on occasion and passed with flying colors. Number three caused a good friend to accuse me of making the whole thing up because I was not burned, I hadn’t been trying to tan specifically so I looked liked I hadn’t been in the tropics. Let alone get him to believe the golf stories!

But your post inspired me to try out a new source mentioned in the link/board Twat suggested and I expect delivery within a couple of days. I’ll post to this thread if/how this works out.

I personally don’t like tan lines, so that’s a thumbs up from me.

I’m mainly interested in your overall tan. Can I ask you a few questions?

You said you haven’t been sunbathing on purpose;
What skin type are you, and how intense was the tan?
How did the tan look after all, like more reddish, or was it very natural looking?
How long have the results of Melanotan lasted?

It was a natural light tan for a redhead. This stuff actually made me so much more sun tolerant than before that I was afraid to push it. I always was afraid that I was one step away from a major burn so I continued using strong sunblocks when I probably should have risked it.

A friend with a darker complexion used it and was afraid of getting to dark with it, he did not get that orange look that the other injectable from years ago caused.

Thanks for reporting in on your experiences. I will myself give this a try. I have found a rather cheap source of Melanotan II. Hopefully it will arrive soon, so I’ll report back on this issue in the course of the next months.

My new supply arrived a couple of days ago. Yeah! Next day spontaneous wood was back but it was not noticable after that(I’m trying the low daily dose over a month period to see if I can get more favorable results). Lowered alcohol tolerance seem to still be there! 2nd Overtime nah I’m done!!oops

Okay still on the low dose protocol! Noticing tanning of face and arms, will start hitting a tanning bed tomorrow to get more overall coverage. It’s been a lousy spring here, every nice day I have had to work.

Spontaneous wood is no longer occurring as mentioned before, this may be because I’m using the Chinese version. I have also noticed some joint pain which is a side effect I’ve heard mentioned a few times.
