Arnica

A homeopath told me yesterday that Arnica should be ingested rather than applied to the affected area for maximal results. Just wondering what people think about this?

And, if it should be used in lotion form, does it have to be used exclusively or can it be combined with other lotions?

I have taken the oral Arnica before, and it does work to relieve muscle soreness. But I do not think it will do very much for discoloration or bruising.

I tried Arnica gel several years ago. I ingested it and applied it everyday for 2 months. It did not fade my discoloration at all.

Has anyone had any success with Vitamin E lotion helping fight discoloration?
