I have a self paid policy that overall works for me, however it does have a 50% copay on the drugs with a $3000 cap (They pay 1500) for the year. So, I started out going to Walmart for my scripts to save dough. My fat fucktard GP wrote me for Lipitor cause my Cholesterol was 20 points out of range, my insurer denied it, which was fine by me since I didn’t want to even take it.

Two days ago, my insurer denied my Provigil and required a second pre-approval form from my GI, which he is filling it out. The Lexapro makes me go into 12 to 15 hour torpors every day, so that is no good. However other than that it works and I tolerate it with no other problems so far. The provigil is to ward off the sleepiness.

I started looking online this weekend after CVS claimed I had no coverage since they have some fangled system which spits out my coverage from just my carrier. I figured if I could get the drugs from Canada, for the same price I pay after 50% copay or less, than it is worth it to pay out of hand and save the benefit for any real needs throughout the year from unexpected illnesses.

For instance what costs $695 for a 90 day supply of 1 a day 100mg Provigil is $173 on that drug finder site for the same thing. So that is half of the half I would have to pay. It appears like I don’t save anything of real value with the Deplin script which I also take.

Many years ago, when I first started at UPS, I had 100% drug coverage for scripts, however you had to mail the labels in and pay upfront and get reimbursed like 6 weeks later. I was healthy back in the mid 90s, so very little cost to me. Plus I paid not a dime for my insurance at all. Nothing taken out of my pays at all.

Ordered my proVigil/Alertec in Canukland for 173 plus $10 shipping today. They did have the generic in the same quantity and strength for $107 also.
