I thought I was going bald at that age. Between 18 and 21 my hairline retreated about an inch, more at the temples, in the classic pattern.
Then it stopped. No change since then, at 47 I still look like a guy in the very beginning stages of male pattern baldness.
My brother’s did the same thing, except for the stopping part. At age 50 he’s as bald as Jean Luc Picard now. My son seems to be on the same path, at 24 he’s given up trying to hide it.
I don’t know what I did right. It’s a good thing I’m agnostic, or I’d be afraid that I might have sold my soul or something. Or maybe - you know how they say that an old man’s hair migrates from his head to his back? Well my back was already so hairy that I guess there wasn’t room for any more scalp hair to migrate. :)
