Can anyone help me investigate

I’m taking some pills due to a sickness with the pathogen as an insistent mother (God! she’s making me sick). She forces the pills on me. Anyways, the pills come from Herbalife. It’s U.S. based and I’m living in the philippines right now and can’t check if thier legit (because most of the info I get over the net are worship crap). I’d appreciate the help.

Oh My God, the Herbalife scam. God it has been years. My insane mother was into that for about 3 months before my father put a quick end to that. Herbalife is like Scientolgy with supplements. I don’t think they’ll do you any real harm. What is she giving to you?

Thermojetics. They contain staeric acid, calcium carbonate hmmm. and other stuff that is completely alien and that when I looked them up in my drug handbook theyare not recognized. But I see others clients taking them and they really slimmed down.

Well this is but my opinion of it. Frrom what I understand it is almost like Amway in which you peddle this shit to people, get them hooked, then get them selling it. Like a bizzaro camp of Harry krischnas it is beyond normal in any stretch. if you want to read something about it look at this:

Hmmm. That’s not how independent sellers are found here… There are no signs or anything whatsoever that will say work from your home. Just products being sold.

With calcium carbonate going into your stomach acid, its not surprising a lot of gas is being produced.

Here’s the chemical reaction going on in your stomach:
Hydrochloric acid + calcium carbonate —> calcium chloride + carbon dioxide + water.
HCl(aq) + CaCO3(s) —> CaCl2(aq) + CO2(g) + H2O(l)

So you can see, carbon dioxide and water are produced.

I often wonder when I get bad gas what I’ve eaten that could have produced it, but its not usually as simple to workout any reactions for the things I eat, so I’ve never been able to see exactly what it could be. I’ll definitely be steering clear of things with calcium carbonate in though from now on, for my own safety. I say that because I often find myself in situations where I’d rather hold it in that release the gas, and that can lead to discomfort. Sometimes though it eventually gets too much and I have to let it out because I’m trapped in that uncomfortable situation longer than I thought (be it a lecture, or a party with lots of people I know there etc). Fortunately for me all my farts are silent and surprisingly few smell, but I know if I ever just let one out expecting it to be like that it would roar out my ass and smell like rotten eggs!

How about staeric acid? I see it as an ingredient in soap.
