Centrum helpful to PE?

Hey everybody. I’m still fairly new with PE, so I was just wondering if taking Centrum would be ok to take while performing my exercises.

The contents of Centrum is:

If you can kindly tell me, or point me in the right direction, what in this is particularly helpful, or harmful (not just to PE, but to my health in general), to my PE routine. And if you have the name of something that might aid me can you tell me what it does (and the possible side effects of it).

Oh, and one more thing. I saw a post a month back, and it said something along the lines of, Vitamin C is bad for your routine. Is this true. Ever since I’ve read this I’ve been inching away from all fruits and basically anything I think has a high Vitamin C content. Can some one please tell me the accuracy of this statement to ease my mind.

Don’t worry about vitamin C at this stage. That has to do with people who are conditioned and have to worry about collagen becoming stronger than before.

I wouldn’t worry whether Centrium is good for PE, a multi-vitamin supplement is regarded as essential for overall general health.

By the way, IF Vitamin-C is bad for your PE routine then you might as well stop eating fruit, vegetables or anything else that might contain Vitamin-C! Man, I’ve been taking multi-vits & Vitamin-C (2,000mg daily) for my training for the past several years & I PE 7-days a week. My PE results are, in my eyes & hands, proving that this Vitamin-C shit is just that…shit! Sorry guys, but I want someone to show me some kind of ‘data’ in regards to this ludicrous statement.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, just because someone theorized that vitamin C could be counter-productive to PE doesn’t mean it’s true. I swear Bib could come on this site and say breathing was bad for PE and people would be passing out left and right. I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you.

I suggest taking Centrum Silver, it has no iron. You will more than likely get enough of it from other sources. I had too much iron when I last had a blood test and I was taking normal Centrum.

I agree with SiamGuy. Either take Centrum Silver or One-A-Day Mens Formula. Neither one contains iron and men should not supplement iron.

Is Centrum okay with PE. Come on dude. Centrum is good for YOU. It is a multivitamin. It isn’t going to give you a 9 inch penis and it won’t make it explode either. I’m just waiting for the “is breathing good for PE” thread - you know it’s coming.

I’m with Revolution & Northof60 on this one, let’s ALL hold our breaths till someone says breathing during PE is ACTUALLY good for you!!! Come on fellas, let’s get real here! If you let silly little ‘theories’ - & that’s just what they are…theories - or such outlandish unproven statements hold you back from whatever your PE dreams are, then it’s real simple…DON’T do it!

It’s like the LOT theory, I use to think “well, I have a very low LOT so I guess it’s game over for me before I’ve even begun!”. I ignored it, took up the newbie routine & HAVEN’T looked back since. If you want a longer & thicker cock then - as Nike says - ‘Just Do It’.

Wise words. Looks like I’ll go out and buy some Centrum Silver.

I am a firm believer of moderation (except when I go out boozin’). I eat fairly healthy so I have always felt that getting 100% from a multivitamin is going overboard. I take Flintstones vitamins. Not because Wilma is the shit but because they contain lower doses of good vitamins. The Flintstones do exactly what I want them to do and that is “supplement” my vitamins not “replace” it. I feel good and seem to always be ready for some “Bam Bam”. :)

Since you are a party animal and only eat fairly well I think you should reconsider switching to an adult vitamin. Alcohol alone plays the devil in depleting your body of vitamins, especially B vitamins.

Well, I’m more like a party domesticated animal now. :) Since getting married, I don’t often drink during the week. If I go out on the weekends, I tend to drink excessively but that’s not too common anymore. I read in Men’s Health magazine a couple of years ago that spinach was one of the best foods you could eat to restore the vitamins that got stripped from drinking but now the news says spinach will kill you! Anyway, when I do take the Centrums and such, I always piss green. With the Flintstones I piss regular.

There are times when I will drink excessively for days (ex. trip to Mexico, Burningman, etc.) but I take some pills called Liver Balance and they seem to really speed my recovery.

By the way, which one do you take Gprent? Do you feel it’s making a difference?

Magnesium 200 mg to help me sleep

Damn, that all sounds like a lot, but I have never been healthier and exercise 5 days a week. I gave up the booze several years ago once I had consumed my lifetime allocation :) and now am addicted to good food and good health.

Based on your pics at the Burning Man gathering, I would say you take very care of yourself and your avatar is a big diversion from reality. But then again, I don’t look like Shania Twain either. :D

He he, you’re the second person to mention the association with me to my avitar. That damn avitar just makes me still laugh after all this time.

You know, I forgot to mention that I do take other supplements inconsistantly. I take fish oil on a regular basis unless I eat fish. I take Glucosamine/Chondroiten every once in a while but forget sometimes. I cycle on L-arginine. I take it two weeks on and two weeks off. Anytime I begin to come down with a cold, I will overdose all day on vitamin C for a few days to kick the bug in the ass. Otherwise, the only vitamin I take religiously is Flintstones.

It sounds like you found a pretty good balance. Good job on your addiction to good food and good health. That most definitely is a rare thing now days. :)
