Hi guys,
I have some king of an allergic nose so my doctor prescribed me Clarinase pills. I was surprised to find out that they contain Ephedrine. So since I’ve heard a lot of negative stuff about these kind of “forbidden” supplements I was just wondering how would this ephedrine affect me or my PE.because I think that my dick is turtling easier than before..

Oh and the other thing is that I’m a competitive swimmer.Could these pills be detected ? I mean ephedrine is strictly forbidden..

If they contain ephedrine, it will be detected. You should tell your doctor about your competitive swimming so he can prescribe something more appropriate.

You should also talk to your coaches or other swimmers about your allergies to see what they would recommend.

A search shows Claritin contains pseudoephedrine, which is looked upon differently than ephedrine by WADA and apparently isn’t prohibited. However, here is an article about someone who ran into trouble from metabolites of pseudoephedrine. You should find out the rules your organization uses.

If loratadine works well for you, maybe you can get it without an added decongestant.

I’ll definitely talk to my doctor and my coach..

But neither of you said anything about how this drug affects my PE (or hormonal balance or something)?

The thing is, since it can get you in trouble with your sport, I just assumed you would stop taking it and therefore the question of it affecting your PE is moot.
