Seriously, a pill splitter is like $4 at any drugstore. It holds the pill in place so you don’t have to worry about cutting your fingers or pill pieces flying away or anything like that. Just put the pill in and close the lid.

Not just me, but at 55 yrs, libido is down bad.and to mention, the wife is menopauseal. Have any of yall guys had any help via way of libido enhancement? Pls,,,no young guys.this if for us old guys. Just a bump to enhance our life’s.

Low testosterone is a usual suspect for low libido in a 55 year old. Get blood work done and consult your doctor for testosterone replacement, if low.

I’m 50 and like tribulus, from Beyond-a-Century.com and avena sativa from the same place. The powders are cheaper and more potent.

How much it cost? More than enhancers?

I’m 50 and my doc prescribed androgel last year, after my blood work came back with low testosterone numbers. I tried it a month but is was too expensive and he gave me a scrip for testosterone cypionate 200mg / ml injections I do myself.

It comes in a 10ml bottle, I use .5 ml every 2 weeks so a bottle lasts about 6 months.

Everything feels better, not just libido.

The best part is Sam’s club price is about $40 for the bottle. I imagine Walmart is not much higher. I think it might be cheaper than Tribulus, which I used to use, and definitely is more effective.

As to getting testing done, I found this site which worked great for me and saves me alot of money. I was paying about $350 for blood work every 6 months including the testosterone .

Now I spend less than half of that.

So you only use 100mg every other week? That seems very low. Most of the men I know on HRT use 200 every week to 200 every other week for the low end. What level does that put you at and how long after injection was the blood work done? I’m not a big fan of every other week injections as I have never felt blood levels stayed high enough into the end of the 2nd week. Do you use any HCG with your therapy and that is why the dose is so low?

My doc and I are of the same mind when it comes to dosing. Start low and take it from there. 2 weeks is a guideline. I know how I feel and when it is time to dose. He discussed how much higher the dose could go to, and would rewrite it to whatever I need it to be, but if I feel good, why raise it. If you haven’t tried it that low, then you wouldn’t know. Also remember that with this like all other meds, the brain plays a big roll in effectiveness of the therapy.

I am a type A personality and have tried higher doses, but the personality changes are profound, which affects my blood pressure adversely, and I do not like taking xanax to offset those effects. I am not using for body building. The greatest benefits for me are a clearer mind, the offset of the side effects of blood pressure meds, and more get up and go.

A 10 ml bottle with a .5 ml dose every 2 weeks would last 40 weeks. I said it lasts 6 months which is 26 weeks. So you can see that I do some adjustment. I also adjust on the other side as well, going 3 weeks to a month without dosing to give my nuts some natural time.

Anyways, this is just my experience. So I suggest when starting out do it like good barbecue, Low and Slow.

Yes, fully agree to start low and work up. You seem to have a good response to it, better than all the guys I know on HRT. You also seem to have a slower clearance time for it. For me 10days is the max I can go between doses or the levels drop to much. I don’t mind shots and don’t like the up and down so I prefer once a week. But that’s just me, if its working not suggesting you change it at all I was just curious of the response you get at that low of a dose. Thanks for the info.
