do steroids side effects make a big penis

Yes, it is a controversial study because of the implications involved. I has contacted them by e-mail to see info on the follow up. Some of the time I get a response from Doctors and Scientists as long as I don’t try to pin them into a corner and say anything is a definite.

They have done many studies on subjects ranging from prostate growth to female hormonal problems.

They are not the only ones to do such studies. Others have been done on Rabbits with the same conclusion. That one showed the thickness of the tunica dropping with the absents of T. It is a good read if you like long drawn out medical files.

I totally believe that the T/DHT receptors remain intact through puberty and act to repair normal stress tears though out life. We put more stress on the tunica and serve to cause more micro tears and to thin it out a bit. Making our penis’s longer in the process but Dht repairs the stress tears and turns it into smooth muscle instead of scar tissue that would, over time, act to cause ED.

Just a theory but I have heard of many Finasteride patients having a hard time gaining with PE. They may indeed be causing a huge amount of scar tissue which is not elastic and won’t stretch at all.

Truly, more studies need to be done but don’t count on the manufacturers to do any such thing. Too much money involved.

Finasteride or Propecia (hair loss) reduces the DHT level which contributes to hair loss, but it also decreases testosterone level. I would rather have a dick that works than hair, so by my doctor’s advice i quit taking the shit.

Cya at 8, i’m not so crazy for putting the androgel on my penis. It actually feels kinda good, and since i have to put it on some skin somewhere, why not put it where you want it to do the most good.

I wish i could have told you that i gained 3 or four inches from dosing my pecker, but in reality, i have gained about an inch in length and .5 inch in girth after a couple of years of mild PE. I’m not as devoted as some. I want to have some time to use my pecker on my girl.

Hey my friend, how often does your doctor check you to monitor your hormone levels and have you noticed any nut shrinkage.

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. Thomas Edison (1847-1931)

What about if you use prohormones? Im talking about things like transdermal forms of 1-test or 4-ad. Im NOT using it directly for PE but for muscle building. Will it have a postive/negative effect or none at all? Supposedly it burns worse than Bengay on the genitals….and after an experience with that, I think ill avoid direct contact to the gentials with the stuff…

Drgmerlin,
That is not so bad of a clip. I appoligize for that comment but you nor anyone else here knows of the long term side effects of putting Androgel on your pecker. I was just saying that , according to the many studies that I have seen, it isn’t T that controls the repair of the Tunica anyway. Putting T on your penis may not do a whole lot.

I have never seen a study about Finasteride and T levels. Can you give me a link so I can check it out??????

Drgmerlin won’t be able to give you a link. Because he has no basis for his statements. It’s just his believe.

It has been discussed in depth that Finasteride dous not reduce Testosterone. I will do the search and give you the link.

Vig-RX and hair loss?

…OK, it’s not really "in depth" :chuckle:

Free T in the body actually increases from Finasteride use. What can hapen though is that E increases too (well I think it always does, but depends on how much) and the bad side effects are from the E, not from lack of T.

edit: Did a quick search and found a study, not the best one but works for the lazy man

I´m not crazy about this part, since I´ve been on fin for my entire PE-career, which have peen a pretty poor career too. Makes me wonder if those of us on fin are doing more harm than good with stretching and high intensity jelqing. Perhaps pumping would be the safest thing for us, I´m looking into that now.

Very interesting read here. The studies are using higher doses of finasteride than people would be taking for hairloss. I couldn’t tell for certain, but it looks like the rats were taking an extreme dose or 4.5mg/kg which would be hundreds of mgs daily for a person.

This could be true but the trial period was only 4 weeks as well. This could be trying to simulate long term use in humans as compared to short term low doses. Either way, Fin only blocks 5 alpha-reductase and higher quanity can only go so far.

I think you are on to something cya with the recovery of tissue etc.

Instead of making it grow it’s helping it heal just like steroids do to other muscles.
