Just a quick question on viagra, or generic viagra

From reading this thread, I know it’s better to pop them while on an empty stomach. But just what does it mean by empty stomach? Like do I have to skip meals and take it before sex? or say three hours is defined as empty stomach?

I would say that it’s not crucial that you not eat for hours before taking the Viagra. Especially if you do not suffer from ED. It makes no difference to me if I’ve eaten immediately before taking Viagra, it always works fine.

Liquor helps too.

I’ve just received some generic Viagra (Silagra) and was gonna take 50mg for when we get home but was a little concerned that it would be rendered ineffective by the food and drink.

BTW, I’ve never suffered from ED and got the sample 4 pack of Silagra just to see what it does.

There’s no doubt for me that taking after a meal makes it less effective, it still works but i just don’t quite have the same rock hard hard-ons, the ones that you could knock nails in with. If i’ve eaten a full meal within the last three hours i just pop 50ml in my mouth, crunch it up abit and let it dissolve under my tongue and between gum and cheek.I find it works alot quicker under the tongue 15 to 20 mins opposed to anything up to an hour if swallowed.

You can take it before you eat, or after.. I don’t think it will be ineffective. If you do try chewing it up, be aware that it’s not the best tasting medicine.

WAIT, please don’t do it before the dinner, really!!! If you are one of the species that will flush from V (as I am), you will feel quite uncomfortable, sitting there in a restaurant with your wife with a red face, a red neck, like a nervous boy on his first date. I bet you don’t run home after dinner. Maybe wait until you had a few drinks in a bar afterwards or whatever you do. Take 50mg before going home. As long as it takes you 30min home you will be perfectly set when arriving at home. Have fun! …and switch out the neon light in the bed room, because of the flushed face, I meant :chuckle:

I suggest having some nasal decongestant spray available too.

Well… got flushed in the face after about 20mins (had to keep complaining that it was hot in the restaurant. lol.)

When we got home and had sex, I wouldn’t say that there was anything different than usual (same strength erection, same duration).

The only different I noted was that beforehand, I was getting hard at almost any sexy thought, and afterwards, I had a semi for quite a while.

I don’t think I’ll use it again for sex because of the flushed face issue, and I have no ED problems whatsoever - as soon as I’m kissing my wife I’ve got a 100% boner :)

What I will use the remaining pill for is my girth exercises as I believe it would really help my workout for this purpose.

Apparently there’s going to be a product called Melanotan (viagra-type product) available soon, nasally administered, cheaper than viagra and apparently possibly more effective. Could be good
