Com’on UpTo, you know that picolinate is their daddy, right ? :p
Barrie et al also found “that picolinic acid promotes absorption
of zinc in humans and further that it
is superior to citrate or gluconate.”44 Unlike
supplementation with many other mineral chelates,
use of exogenous zinc picolinate may
actually provide the compound normally created
by the body in the intestinal tract to facilitate
absorption."

"Zinc was measured in hair, urine, erythrocyte and serum before and after each period. At the end of four weeks hair, urine and erythrocyte zinc levels rose significantly (p less than 0.005, p less than 0.001, and p less than 0.001) during zinc picolinate administration. There was no significant change in any of these parameters from zinc gluconate, zinc citrate or placebo administration "

Although I’m guilty of supplementing with zinc gluconate from NOW, as it is damn cheap . :D
I try to eat red meat too, but with these recent prices, I abstain. :) Chicken 4 the win !
