Nerve repair and numbness
I’ve been PE’ing for about ten days, until last night. I had what I thought was a lig pop saturday night, but I now believe its a pulled nerve maybe. I’ve been trying to “put my finger” on the feeling, and finally stumbled across it last night, theres been like a ripped or torn feeling up under the head, and I’ve been having feelings of numbness that come and go, I thought it was just feeling “beat up” from my sessions. (Its hard to tell sometimes.) After last nights session my head was pretty well numb on the whole left side, even down into the frenulum. I have stopped all PE. This morning was about the same. Tonight when I got home it still seemed numb, then a couple hours later I felt little stabbing feelings under and to the left of the frenulum, like someone was poking it with a sharp pencil or a pin. This lasted for a few minutes. I felt the head and it seemed like the feeling was back somewhat. So I think it’s trying to heal itself or “seek” connection. All the details of all this are in my progress report thread, so I won’t repeat everything here. I’m feeling a little like I’m in the twilight zone here. It seems to be “coming and going” so I’ll take that as a good sign.
What can I do, nutritionally, to help the nerve seek and repair? As I recall b-vitamins are good for nerves, EFA’s (I have fish oil and flax oil)… maybe some minerals or electrolytes?
Should I stop my enzymes and/or probiotics? I don’t know if these would help or hinder things.
I’m doing just a little gentle massage now and then, and that’s IT. After last night’s session it was very numb so all bets are off. It’s no fun having a numb head. Any advice is appreciated guys.
